The host was welcoming and communicated well. We were able to check in easily at 11 pm after a long day at Carowinds. We did find a two roaches in our room which kind of brought the experience down and reminded me of my college dorm days.

Looks can be deceiving sums up this stay. Looked nice at first but don’t be fooled. Place has a funky smell. Floors seem to be uneven in the hall like possible structural failure. Room had not been cleaned appropriately. Pee stains on walls in bathroom, hair on bathroom curtain, and worst of all counted 13 roaches in our room. We only stayed a night and couldn’t get out fast enough. They had a decent looking breakfast but after seeing so many German cockroaches in the room I couldn’t imagine how many were in the kitchen. My kids have small bites around neck so possibly bed bugs as well. Definitely wouldn’t recommend and won’t return.
