There was a $100 security deposit charged on arrival that was not previously mentioned. I was immediately pulled aside to pressure into attending a presentation, which wasn’t the worst, but they basically called the “owner” of the room a scam artist. Said he just uses his time and doubles the cost of the room for profit, and next time why don’t I just book directly. Our key cards stopped working halfway through the night so we were locked out. The only source of food and drinks on property (pizza, beer, snacks, ice cream closed at 6:20pm because “it wasn’t busy enough”. The soda machine ate our $1.75 and after getting a refund were informed that if we wanted any water we should go to the convenience store down the street. The room itself was beautiful and the pool and proximity to the beach can’t be beat but since they can’t feed my family, we won’t be booking again.
