The scenery is amazing at the "cabin" - which is a structure that has two units, with a garage in the middle. The owners live on site in a beautiful home about a hundred yards away, and they were so nice and friendly. We knew going in that they lived onsite, so we were prepared for that, but for those who don't like that, you should know it up front. They are on a working ranch, and are very actively out and about, so you'll run into someone pretty often, which was okay with us. They have a sweet dog, Sophie, who kept us company on several fishing excursions, and loved to play.
The "cabin" is comfy - we only had a couple of minor inconveniences. One we knew about going in, that there was no double/queen or king sized bed, which is a little odd. We solved this by placing two mattresses on the floor in front of the fireplace side by side. It worked okay, but the mattresses are VERY firm, and by the end of our short stay, we were incredibly sore. The other which was really just an inconvenience, is that there was limited storage. There was no dressers or drawers of any sort, so you lived out of a suitcase. There were tons of hooks to hang things on, which were handy. Everything was in working order, and the unit was very clean, had really cold and really hot water. The owners provided tons of helpful information on where to eat, what to sight see, and since we were there land hunting, even who to talk with regarding that. The unit is within walking distance to the Green River, and we spent several of our days fly fishing, with an easy walk back for lunch or a break. Overall, a very nice visit and very relaxing. Thank you for sharing your cabin.
