The owner has reported looking for a replacement oven but that the oven does heat to temp correctly. The door does not seal and no replacement parts are available. I have made the owner aware about the tub needing to plug. Hopefully that will be an easy adjustment to make. Housekeeping was not aware that the rug was needing washed but took care of it as soon as this was noted and would have done it upon check in if they knew. We are glad overall you enjoyed your stay! We are working with pest control to get the stink bugs under control. This is a problem in our area because it is an invasive, non native species that does not respond to treatment well. This cabin has so much for guests to find rest and relaxation away from it all. This lovely riverfront cabin is mountainous and steeper to the river and the owner has tried to put in good stairs for guests. We hope you will check with us for other riverfront homes with flatter yards and less steep river access. The step into the river can be different depths based on water levels and erosion, as well. In our guest book instructions, we suggest guests to take trash to the local convenience trash centers, as we do not have local pick up. Perhaps that would have alleviated some of your issues. As for the lawncare, we do not know exactly when they are going to be there and the check in instructions for River Raves says: "Lawn will be maintained from April thru October and that includes grass mowing that might start as early as 8AM no more than weekly. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this matter." We hope you will check with us for other riverfront homes with flatter yards and less steep river access.
