Welcome to our "Rivah" cottage! Our adorable cottage with 2 bedrooms (1 King , 1 Queen) and separate studio/office building with 1 twin bunk and 1 queen bed (available to book with 3 or more guests for extra fee); studio includes a dedicated desk and view of the tidal pond.
1 Full bathroom in main cottage with large walk-in shower. Washer/dryer. Outdoor shower. Fenced yard. Wifi. Noise makers. Memory foam mattress pads and lots of pillows. Well stocked kitchen. Toiletries provided. Fire pit. Room darkening curtains. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels provided. 4 bikes. Beach cart. 4 kayaks and life jackets in assorted sizes.
We have been waiting to find a perfect peaceful river getaway for our family, we were lucky to find this gem & we want to share it with you! Morattico is the sweetest little village filled with friendly neighbors & an amazing waterfront museum. Walk across the street to our shared river porch, fish in the Rappahannock River or walk down the road to a shared beach and pier access where you can kayak and swim in Lancaster Creek.
If you want to get away from it all and relax near the water, this is the place!
