Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay for a week in Puerto Rico! We are a family of 4 including 2 teenagers. The grounds were immaculate, as well as very secure and safe. We were surprised to learn that the villa was actually two technically separate apartment style living spaces as one villa. This allowed our children to have an upstairs "suite" with their own balcony, full bathroom, and mini kitchen which was a bonus for teens. However, if travelling with young children, this might not work so well. Additionally, if travelling with someone with mobility issues, this might not be the place for you.There is a definite split between the Casistas and the adjacent hotel and what is available to guests. Guests through VRBO do not have access to the boat to the private island, any morning coffee shops, golf cart pick ups, or the water park. We spent plenty of time by one of the infinity pools. Despite the listing, we were denied access to the lower infinity pool as that is for use for owners only. This was disappointing, but not essential. The area of Farjardo was a nice jumping off point to do many activities on the East coast. Would definitely stay here again, but just know a little more now to be more prepared.
