We stayed here with our wedding party during our wedding weekend, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The house was beautiful, clean, and spacious, with plenty of room for our group to spend time together and celebrate. We especially loved the peaceful pond and having access to the kayaks, it was such a fun bonus! The host was wonderful—responsive, kind, and made the entire process seamless from booking to checkout. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special weekend. Highly recommend!

Ben was a great host. The check-in process was seamless and the house accommodated 4 families, which is not easy to do. The overall property was great! The group spent most of their time outdoors on the pond, fishing or playing games on the lawn. I highly recommend it!

Ben is a joy to work with. He's very responsive and interested in making sure things are running smoothly and we have what we need. Big 3-acre property with tons of room to play. Nice beach for the young kids. His pontoon boat is excellent... All in all a wonderful stay.

We had an amazing stay in Litchfield. The house is as described. Kitchen had everything we needed! Bedrooms were large and tidy. Basement area was fun for the older kids with the pool table and games! Being on the lake was amazing! I highly recommend! Ben was a great host.

Very clean home, beautiful landscaping right on the lake. had a few hiccups early but they were dealt with in a professional and timely manner, so no reservations about this. Golf nearby (Meadows) Fun course. Enjoyed the call of the loons from around the lake. Can't think of anything we needed that was not there. Good chance of a return visit. Thanks Ben!

We rented Ben’s place first weekend of October for a dads and lads golf trip. There were 16 of us from all over the northeast, so a full house. The good parts were house was clean and big enough for all of us. It is in a great location for the courses we played and easy to find. (If you’ve never played Belgrade Lakes it’s worth a visit.) House looks like pictures, in a nice spot on lake, and pretty well equipped for groups. King bed was comfortable. Others not great. Ben was responsive to texts once we got him.Bad parts were; Supposed to get check-in three days before but ended up having to contact vrbo to get to Ben, The hot water was not working which is an issue with a group this large in Maine in October. Ben did send someone out that night but there was a bad igniter which could not be replaced on weekend. There is a small 27 gallon? electric tank which he hooked up but not enough for 16 adults. There also was no propane for the grill or fire pit.Given this situation you’d think an owner would give a small refund but that did not happen. Ben did offer a price break if we stayed again but that doesn’t do much for a group like this.

Gorgeous property, spacious house, lots of available activities, Not only did my family thoroughly enjoy their stay but the dogs (2) thought they were in heaven.

The house is lovely and the grounds are beautiful. Host was welcoming and answered any questions right away. It was winter, but the road was maintained very well and the home was warm and inviting.

Fantastic property with loads of extras, kayaks, SUP boards, pool table! Kitchen had everything needed for a wonderful stay and the extra refrigerator downstairs was a big bonus! House layout was very accommodating for multiple age groups.

Graduation Weekend

We had a group of 11 stay for Colby's graduation. It was a perfect place for our family. The house is on a quiet bay of a Woodbury Pond, plenty of space and so many outdoor living areas! Hope your family can enjoy this house as much as we did!

⸻We had our annual friends weekend over the holiday weekend and had a great stay! Ben was very accommodating and kindly allowed us to bring our four dogs. The house was perfect for our group—comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. We ran into a few minor hiccups, but Ben was quick to respond and very helpful throughout our stay. If you’re thinking about booking, you definitely should! We’re already looking forward to booking again next year.

The house was perfect for our family gathering over Christmas. Plenty of space for the 10 of us to spread out and a large kitchen for cooking up holiday meals. The game room was a hot spot for pool tournaments. The weather cooperated with a frozen lake and plenty of fresh snow. Ben was accommodating to drill us some holes in the ice so the boys could fish and they caught trout! He also plowed us out after 18 inches fell on Christmas eve.

Playland

A spacious, lovely lake house. The private beach and a great dock for mooring our pontoon boat were a big hit. Plenty of room for the seven of us to cook together. Great family fun.

Beautiful Home and property.

This was our second year spending a week with our family. There is plenty of space both inside and out. The outside seating areas have beautiful flowers. We enjoyed the sounds of the loons in the morning and evening while eating meals on the deck.

Hidden gem

Beautiful property. We had 8 adults and 4 kids ages 4,5,6,and 7. Lots of room for all. Three levels. Big kitchen, well stocked. Lots of fun out in the water. Owner so kind and easy to work with. Comfy inside and out. You won’t want to leave the property

Beautiful, Relaxing Setting

Once we got past the communication snafu around our check-in, which ended up working out okay but might not have, and which the owner pledged to resolve going forward, everything else about our stay was terrific. The home is on a beautiful piece of property with a wonderful, relaxing, lakeside setting, complete with kayaks and paddleboards. The home itself is simply furnished with everything needed, and the kitchen is well-stocked with anything a guest might need. The outdoor spaces are a big selling point. Ben, the owner, was very accessible and provided us with some good restaurant suggestions. We had a very enjoyable week!

Dreams do come true

Everyone was impressed with the property. It had lots of room inside and out. In a short time you really feel at home. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. The house had closets with extra bedding, lots of towels, chairs, tables, lifejackets, etc. etc. all you need to do is look you really feel like it’s your own place as soon as you figure out where everything is, we had a grand time. The boat launch is very close. The water is calm the kids had a great time fishing, swimming and enjoying the lake. No one had a better time in the water than our dog. The lawn is big enough to have a game of catch with some serious baseball players. We saw a turtle on the roadway. It’s very quiet and incredibly lovely.The adults had a great time as well

Wonderful Vacation Getaway - Multi-Generational Family with Pets

We had a wonderful multi-general family vacation with our pets, at Ben’s beautiful lakefront home. The house accommodated us easily with a great kitchen area for meal prep, incredible water views, and lots of water and lawn toys for use by kids to adults, which we used daily. The area is majestic with the soothing calls from the loons, soaring eagles, and great fishing. Our group ranged in age from 9-94 and everyone enjoyed the property! Conveniently located near a grocery store and a great pizza place too. We had a few day trips that were all within an hour from the property. The owner, Ben, stopped by almost daily, to ensure we were enjoying the property and to answer any questions. He is very friendly and so accommodating. We highly recommend Ben and his home. Enjoy!
