Beautiful house and perfect location

This home was everything we hoped it’s would be. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. The location on the beach is perfect. The space was plenty for our family of five. We enjoyed flying kites, making sand castles, walking the town, playing foosball, making s’mores and much, much more. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us.

Vacation 2021

This property was great, beautiful area and we enjoyed our week. We thought there would be a book or folder that would include information regarding things like Wi-Fi, how to operate the TV and two remotes, maybe some of the things to do in the area or restaurant recommendations etc… On the first morning the toaster oven didn’t work properly and we were told that they would bring another one the next day, this did not happen and we had to use the oven all week for toast. Overall this is a great place to rent and the deck is a great place to watch the sunset.

A little bit of everything...

We had a wonderful stay at this home. We were 5 adults (21 - 51) and 3 kids (4 & 11) and there was something (and someplace) for everyone. The beds, pillows, towels, and blankets are plentiful and well appointed. The house is lovely, filled with comfortable furniture and unexpected touches (like the long marshmallow skewers and first aid kit). The deck is gigantic, the yard is spacious and is home to a truly wonderful tree swing. The beach is just out the gate and is shallow for a long time, which is great if you have kids. The sunsets from the back of this house are incredible, I would recommend picking up some firewood, and making s'mores while watching the sun set at least once during your stay. For me personally, my favorite room was the sunroom. I was working for most of my stay and this became my office. If you open the windows, you get not only a beautiful view of the lake, but the breeze comes into the room and you can feel like you're outside while still looking like you're inside when you're on a Zoom call. This house is conveniently located within walking distance of grocery and dining locations as well as other attractions. That said, a number of party boats do congregate in front of the house Friday - Sunday meaning you get a lot of people in the water, often with loud music and a generally festive vibe. They (and most other beachgoers) were usually gone by around 7pm. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend this home. It was wonderful.

Fantastic Stay at Sylvan Beach!

This house was in the BEST location, and the sunsets were absolutely FANTASTIC. Being able to walk right out to the beach was heavenly. We loved the location (can't be beat) and the setting is perfect. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. My understanding is that it's a new rental, so there were a few minor things we shared with the property manager. I highly recommend staying here - simply perfect.

Our family loves to spend as much time as possible at the beach. We decided to share this awesome home because our kids have become extremely busy and have been unable to utilize it as much as we used to. College, sports jobs etc has taken precedence.
