Summary:
Escape to Mooresville, where the charm of lakefront living meets the excitement of Race City USA. Situated on beautiful Lake Norman, The Blue Bungalow places you in the heart of outdoor adventure—boating, fishing, and watersports are right at your doorstep. Beyond the lake, explore local breweries, cozy eateries, and NASCAR attractions, or make the short drive into Charlotte for even more shopping, dining, and entertainment.

The Space:
Step onto the inviting front porch with its classic rocking chairs before heading inside to the spacious living room, where a smart TV, sectional, and board games set the stage for family fun. The bright, airy kitchen with sleek black countertops and counter seating for two flows seamlessly into a dining area with a table for eight, perfect for gathering. Entertain in style in the private bar area, complete with stools, a mini fridge, and its own smart TV. Outdoors, you’ll find a deck with seating for six and a grill for lakeside cookouts, as well as a second deck closer to the water featuring lounge seating that leads to your private boat slip.

Enjoy the private dock and lakefront bar while you relax and enjoy beautiful Lake Norman. Unwind with a tour in one of our kayaks. Or, for those that care to enhance their Lake Norman experience, you can rent our 23’ pontoon boat docked at our private slip. The boat rental is an exclusive option for the guests of The Blue Bungalow. For those that have their own boat, there is an additional slip at the private dock.

This home comfortably sleeps 8 guests between 3 private bedrooms.

Bedroom #1 includes a queen size bed and a smart TV.

Bedroom #2 includes a queen size bed, a smart TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a single vanity and a walk-in shower.

Bedroom #3 includes a queen size bed, twin-over-twin bunk beds, and a smart TV.

The home also includes a full guest bathroom with a single vanity and a shower/tub combo.

THINGS TO NOTE:
- Washer and dryer in home.
- Driveway parking for 6 vehicles available.
- This home is equipped with two (2) external security cameras:
(1) located at the doorbell and actively monitoring the front entry and the driveway,
(2) located at the shed and actively monitoring the boat area.
- Portable crib provided.

Located 20 miles north of Charlotte, Lake Norman is the perfect place for a quick trip or small getaway anytime of the year. The early check in process was a bit tedious. The house is beautiful and has all of the things for a family. The floors are wood and very thin making every noise notable. There were spring breakers next store slightly disrupting peace on our last day. Would have benefited from knowing the process to rent the boat before being told we didn’t give enough notice for them to get it out. Overall great family stay and will come back.

NASCAR race trip weekend

We went there for a NASCAR trip. Saturday we spent the day on the kayaks on the lake, it was the best time! The house was beautiful and cozy, definitely would recommend it for a family vacation or just some time with friends! Had a lovely time and enjoyed every bit of it.

What a Great Stay

While we only stayed here 3-4 days, our vacation lasted 2 weeks at other locations. Staying here was the highlight for us.Communication with the owner and staff were very helpful and they made themselves available with questions we had.The place was immaculate, everything looked great and worked well. The location is in a rural neighborhood and was beautiful. We really appreciated being able to rent the pontoon while we were there. We received clear instructions, took our time on Lake Norman and visited some restaurants.Definitely recommend staying here.

Peaceful and Relaxing Lake Stay

The property was beautiful. It has everything you need to enjoy a lake property (dock with deck and lounge chairs, kayaks and life vests) The bar area with the dart board and view of the lake was really nice! The deck off the house was wonderful with a full table, chairs and umbrella. We had a wonderful relaxing time!

Wonderful Stay!

The house felt more like coming home than a rental! We loved the location, the ease of everything, the boat rental on site. The house was super clean, smelled good and was super comfortable. The only issue we had was that the master toilet had trouble flushing. The only suggestions we'd have is to have a few more forks, throw blankets and oars for the kayaks. And if you have a chance to get a kids kayak, that would be awesome! But all in all, we'd rent this house again!

Lake Norman vacation

We highly recommend using Zach's house for a vacation. We couldn't ask for a better experience. Zach and his Mom were wonderful with us. We recommend renting the pontoon while you are there. We had 3 of our younger grandchildren with us and they said they liked it better then a beach vacation. I wished we could have stayed longer.

Great spot!

We went up for a lacrosse tournament with a few teenage girls. Perfect place for adults and kids. House was great as all reviews say, but having the outside bar area was key for the adults to hang out while the teenagers took over the living room. Girls had a blast playing off the dock swimming and kayaks, and the back deck is perfect for morning coffee and relaxing. Wish we had more time at the house and will rent this again for sure!

A great stay!

We had a really nice time at the lakehouse! It was so clean inside and had everything we needed. The deck by the water was where we spent most of our time and the best part was the giant tree provided a lot of shade almost all day! We also rented the boat and while it was pricey we were happy with it and the communication around the rental and operating it were really easy. We'd love to come back and stay longer! Tip for those booking: the temperature was comfortable throughout the house but the back right bedroom got the coldest if that's important to ya ;)

Very nice

We enjoyed this property very much. We did not enjoy the size or comfort of the beds. There should be more mirrors for us women and little bit more of a feminine touch is needed as far as comfort and lighting but other than that it really did the job!

Incredible House, Location, and Host

This place was perfect on so many levels. It didn't hurt that the weather was perfect, causing everything to glow. We used this house while visiting for graduation at Davidson and now want to rebook for a week to enjoy it along with the boat. The place was clean, comfortable, open enough to manage the larger family in one area, and stocked with everything we needed. The grounds and deck are beautiful. Zack was gracious with his input and very quick with communication. We had super easy access to a variety of grocery stores and restaurants. (Although we rarely left the deck). If you're considering it, book it. You won't be disappointed.

Great home on quiet cove!!!

We just got back from an AWESOME week at Zack's house! The first thing you can tell is how much work and care he has put into it! The house has recently been updated and you can tell it's well maintained and clean! The beds are so comfortable! And although we spent most of our time out on the lake or dock, the kids loved having a Netflix account to use on the TV at night before bed! The new sun deck down by the dock is a terrific place to sit and enjoy the quiet evenings on the cove! Plenty of space and chairs! And the cove, not having heavy boat traffic, was the perfect place for the kids to swim or fish right off the dock! Zack was always a phone call or text away if we had a question or needed anything. But he's thought of it all ahead of your arrival! We ABSOLUTELY would recommend staying here as it has a great location onto the main body of the lake (5 minutes by boat), but it's removed just the right distance to be quiet and serene.

Great 4th of July stay!

Rented the house and a boat to go along with it for 6 adults over 4th of July week. House is “cozy,” very clean and had everything we needed for a great time. Had an air conditioning issue on the holiday, but owners were amazingly responsive and got it fixed right away! Terrific stay!
