Excellent location! Lots of restaurants within walking distance, and a conveniently located train station nearby. Apartment was cozy, well-stocked, and perfect for 2 people. Street parking was doable (visitor parking permit provided) but there’s also a parking garage nearby. Ken was very responsive and available through messages.

Great Place! We’ll Be Back!

Very complete and nothing missing you’d want in a rental (toaster, electric tea kettle, Keurig machine are provided also). Area and apt itself are quite quiet. AC cooled down place nicely. Safe neighborhood and host is very responsive. Towels are soft and high quality. Included parking permit allowed for free & close street parking. Best Welcome/Orientation Book we’ve ever seen in a rental.

The heating does not seem to be ideal, as the apartment was a bit cold at the beginning of winter. There was a small electric heater available. Additionally, I am having trouble obtaining a receipt for this stay.

Very nice stay at reasonable price in great neighborhood

Enjoyed my 2-night stay. Apartment is up one flight of stairs, would have been good to know that in advance, and also to know beforehand that the parking was not in a driveway but rather on the street using a permit that had to be picked up upon arrival --- but it all worked out fine. Security was excellent with electronic locks for fenced-in entry walkway off the sidewalk, main door to building, and apartment itself. Very friendly host, clean and comfortable apartment, bed in particular was very comfy. It was unseasonably hot and they had taken down the window AC --- there was a portable floor heater/fan of some kind but couldn't figure out how to use it, and couldn't figure out the ceiling fans either, so opened the windows. Bathroom was small but had nice, new fixtures; the shower hose was great, as was water pressure. It's an older building but perfectly satisfactory for my needs and close to Mass Ave, MIT, etc. I would stay there again, I consider it a great value for an expensive area.

great location, ok for a 1 night stopover

The property was in a great location for a 1 night stopover in Boston. Metro stop (Central) was few minutes walk. Lots of shops and places to eat nearby. We had 2 couples staying. The Sofa Bed was only suitable for 1 person. There was a 2nd mattress/bed but limited bedding options. So I wouldn't recommend for 4 Adults. There were some stains on the Sofa Bed that were slightly off-putting, sink & shower could do with a bit of a scrub as had some staining, overall cleanliness was just about acceptable. It is in a Student Area but was very quiet late on , no parties etc which was great as it was a Saturday and we half expected it to be lively , so we had a decent night sleep. Area felt very safe to walk. Having Free Parking was a bonus and we were able to secure a spot outside the property. Overall , this was a very economical way to do a short stay in Boston , Boston Hotels & Parking are very expensive unless you stay way out in the Suburbs , so despite a few flaws I would recommend this property for a economical way to stay close to Boston Centre.

Heart Cambridge-MIT

The property is listed that it can accommodate up to 4 people. With two adults and a teenager, it was very tight inside the apartment. The futon is had old stains, very small and hard as a rock. If the extra mattress in the closet is used, there would be no room to walk inside the apartment. Only one tv inside the bedroom, an additional tv in the living room would have been nice. Bed in the bedroom is old, too soft with no support. Sheets had old stains on them (used a black light to check for stains and cleanliness of the apartment), overall the place was not very clean. Also, the stairwell is very narrow and difficult to carry luggage up to the room. Only plus was the Redline T-station was close. Would not recommend this property to anyone. Very disappointed.

Activities and restaurants are everywhere. Be sure to visit the Arnold Arboretum. Everything is excellent.

Great location but missing a few things...

The location and space was great for just me, and walkability was perfect. However, the microwave had dirty dried food in it and some of the towels were dirty. The listing also indicates a few things that were not available, including a new treadmill in the basement (there was no visible access or directions to the basement). The listing also indicated a washer/dryer, which was not included in the unit, and pantry items were minimal - nothing was provided beyond coffee mate. The space and location are perfect, just be prepared for some of the listed amenities to be missing.

Convenient location

We have enjoyed our stay in the property. The location is super convenient. I walk to Target, HMart, Starbucks, and MIT campus. Very safe area, no issue at all. We always can find a parking spot on street.

Cute little apartment

The location and apartment were perfect as a home base for our adventures around Boston and Cambridge. The bed was extremely comfortabel, the host was easy to contact when needed. Would stay here again.

Street parking was great

Everything went very smoothly during our stay. The owner provided us with a parking permit that allowed us to park on the street. When our friend spent the one night with us, the owner allowed us to park his car in a neighboring property’s driveway. It was very helpful and accommodating.

Clean and Lots of Access

Great communication with property owner. Lots of dining options near property. Great price for a one night stay in Boston (with parking). Consider checking out this location if you want to explore Boston but be burdened with downtown Boston craziness!

Great location, clean, safe

This place is in a perfect location for access to the transit system. There is no parking; you must use the nearby parking garages. The bed was comfy, the sheets nice (i.e. not cheap), the place was quiet. The only criticism is that the place was tiny- the photos on-line make it look much more roomy than it is. Everything was in place, however, and we would stay again without any concerns.

Hiddend gem near Central square

We stayed on a quite street in a cute, well maintained unit, with a very comfortable bed and all of the usual amenities. We emailed manager a couple of times to clarify things and always got a response within minutes. I highly recommend!

Excellent location for visiting Boston

The place is near the train station and food market. Perfect for 2 to 4 persons. The owner responds within minutes when you need info. We recommand the place.
