A great stay

I recently had to take care of some business in Rangeley which forced an overnight stay in the area. I fortunately booked a room at the Oquossoc Suites, and it was wonderful. I was welcomed by a clean, spacious room with more amenities than I needed for one evening, but I truly appreciated their availability if a need arose. The room was very quiet which is always an added bonus. Thanks for a great stay.

Best Spot for the Rangeley loop

Needed one more room for a spillover night. We planned on a large trail ride, called and space was available. Check-in was remote, perfect !!! the room was all we needed, clean, great shower and bath. The only spot we will use if we can get you again.

nice little place

the suite we stayed in was a little on the small side but otherwise the beds were super comfortable and the hosts were excellent communicators. we love this are and would stay again!

Ok

Bathroom door would not stay closed. Shower head is no good and malfunctioning. Spotlight on all night directly outside the units front door. Daylight showing through rear door.

Decent room but could use improvements

We arrived to find our room unlocked, with no keyless pad (as indicated on the welcome email with a passcode), and had to use a regular key. Not a big deal, just not what was communicated/expected. All other rooms had a modern/keyless lock except #5. Also, the noise from the upstairs guests was really loud. Every time they went up and down the stairs and were walking above us (including late at night/early am) was disturbing. Additionally, the vent in the bathroom is filthy - it doesn't look like it's been cleaned in years! For the amount of money per night, I expected nicer. The location is great and it was fine but not great.

The ramp was not shoveled when we arrived on Thursday night and from the looks of it had not been shoveled for quite a while. The light outside the door on the porch did not work and the bathroom mirror was too high for someone in a wheelchair to let look in it. The bed was too high for someone in a wheelchair too.

Light Sleepers Beware

Room has an overall beautiful look but walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors pretty easily! Also there is a loud vibration from the heating that shakes the whole bed. So light sleepers beware! For the price I feel like the beds could have been bigger with how big the room is. Hotel rooms should always have a comfy bed! Room was nice and clean and check in and out was super convenient.

This was our first stay at the Oquossoc Motek Country Suites. We were pleased with its location, cost, and convenient booking. The only suggestions would be to provide spare blankets and some instruction with direct tv (used to cable). Thank you!

Mixed Review and Feelings

Limited space so forced to abbreviate comments. When arrived, keypad malfunctioned. Management said it would be taken care of...wasn't. Arrived mid-evening after being out and couldn't access room. Very cold, needed to stay in car to stay warm..waited about 30 minutes finally maintenance came, had to leave us a key. Cold in the room that night and NO blankets! Only a thin beadspread and sheet!! Had to put our winter coats on top of us over the sheets. Very uncomfortable night. Management left two comforters the next day. Lastly, extremely disruptive mechanical hum on almost all the time. Became very noticeable when only twice during our entire 3-day stay did the noise stop...for 30 sec. S0 quiet! And back on...SO noisey! Put in earplugs last night and still had extremely difficult time falling asleep. Would NOT recommend this suite 5 because of that. If you sleep thru a hurricane, perhaps not an issue. Otherwise, room and bath nice and relatively spacious. Some restaurants nearby....10 minutes or so to Rangely.

Tough weekend with the elements, very cold. Unfortunately we didn't have heat the first night and didn't have hot water the second morning and we lost power for a period of time. That all being said we made the best of the weekend and we will definitely come again. Morton and Furbush was very supportive and very responsive and I thank you for that.

Awesome Stay!

Awesome room, very clean and homey. We were the only people at the motel the entire weekend (no snow yet). Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the heater turning on felt like an earthquake and woke us up , also it rained and it sounded like it was coming into the AC box (so loud!) Loved the kitchenette , we were able to make breakfast and have coffee each morning which was nice!
