The host was great and the house was nice. It rained the whole time we were there, so the kids didn’t get to use the amenities. Too many breakable to be comfortable with grandkids running around. I would stay again.

Very very peaceful

The house is huge and the yard is even bigger. It’s super peaceful and the pool OSS the perfect temperature. It’s a hidden gem!

Fishing Trip

Excellent place, lots of room to accommodate 8 fishermen with good parking. Very friendly and accommodating host. Would stay again.

Amazing outdoor space that our pups enjoyed very much. The large backyard and pool area were great for hanging out. There are an abundance of beds, so great for big groups. Well stocked kitchen utensils and such. The one big disappointment was the cleanliness. We had to prewash anything we used in the kitchen - literally everything. Toilets and rugs also seemed to be unclean. This house would be absolutely AMAZING if it were maintained properly, though I will acknowledge that is quite a task, as everything is so plentiful!

Family Get Together

Wonderful! We had plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The outdoor fireplace and seating was amazing. We would definitely stay there again.

Peaceful stay in nature

We thoroughly enjoyed the gardens, hawks circling above, the frog chorus, and the gentle walk to the dock. What a lovely place to immerse in nature.

Family Holiday

We loved our time together as a Big family of 12 at the Flamingo house. Very spacious with plenty of beds and bathrooms. Kitchen was fully equipped too. We spent time playing games and roasting marshmallows by the outdoor fireplace. Would come again. Thanks

Lagrange vacation

Check in was easy. Outdoor area was wonderful lots of space, games. Easy parking. Close to everything We went to the Bible history museum had the biblical feast , lots of shopping , nice places we ate out at the ol diner and at captains the only thing that we needed more of bright lights for reading and playing games.

Great Lake House

Great rental! Plenty of room, amazing pool, and the lake is just a short walk through the woods (the kids loved it!) Wonderful week for my grandson's birthday! Close to downtown which was a very nice area to walk/shop/eat.

Loved LaGrange

We absolutely loved this house and the small town feel of LaGrange. We recommend eating at Captains. It was delicious. We had plenty of room to hangout and plenty of private space too.

Exactly as it looks online

Enjoyed the stay. The pool was nice and we played pickleball on the tennis court. Property is in a neighborhood but also secluded from the neighbors making it the best of both worlds.

actually my couch is new as of xmas its an original 1970's velvet patterned 8 ft fabulously designed couch that my 6'6" husband fits on beautifully and I've been searching for over 2years -the room was decorated in a 1970's motif if you look actually at the decor of the entire house you certainly understand my unique funky design aesthetic -so I have absolutely ZERO idea where they would think I needed a new couch &that WOULD NEVER come out of my mouth -maybe rent something more conservative ,simple and plain next time !!! my unique design will only get more creative which isn't for everyone! please look for a basic place to rent next time thank you

Best of Times

yAnother beautiful stay here with our family! This was our 2nd year and there is always room for everyone! Plenty of pool time, dinner around the table, playing games, or just relaxing together…this home has just the right place for everything we want to do. We want for nothing while staying here.

Best Family Vacation

This was an absolutely perfect vacation spot for our family. There was plenty of private space for the 7 of us when needed, and more than enough group areas where we could all be together. The pool with the pavilion was the favorite of all! The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil and cooking equipment we needed. Check-in and check-out was easy and our host responded to our communications in a timely manner. Definitely our choice for another vacation!

Family Reunion

Our second stay and all was AWESOME again!! The property is very well maintained, every kitchen utensil, pan, dish, and appliance available and in great working order. The HUGE back yard, pool, tennis court, dock on the lake with the conveniently available large tree holding fish just in casting distance from the dock made for good fishing. In all, if you want a relaxing home and property with ALL the amenities, this IS the spot!!

Wonderful and relaxing

We enjoyed the relaxation that this property offered. The pool and outside lounging areas were a big hit as well as the tennis court (we used for pickleball)! Loved eating dinner with all the family at the big table by the pool. The cove was nice but didn't catch many fish. A great place to unwind and be refreshed!

Beautiful property, attentive owners

A group of friends and I had a stay cation at this property, and generally loved it. The owners were very attentive, but there were Internet problems and we never got Internet, making a working stay cation somewhat difficult. The outdoor spaces are fantastic, and there is always something new to do. Would rent again with assurances that the internet was back!

yes the storm did take out the internet and I know this is problematic for anyone no matter what!!! even though this was out of my control- I am the face of the flamingo and will listen and try to improve -that is why I refund money in this case it was the only additional thing I could control and execute - I want everything to go perfect- which is evident by my site status -I also hope to avoid anything but a 5 star review especially because this will gravely effect my status for the next 12 months -so I have added "no internet interruption when storming at lakehouse to my nightly prayers" lol not sure what else to do and I can never control the weather ,internet, electricity&water besides paying my bill? but I 100 % get the frustration and thank you I also extended a discount in the future besides the refund to help with the inconvenience -oh these luvly group of women took great care of my house and could not of been nicer to my husband and the different repair guys that had to access house if I had to have something go wrong again I would wish it could be someone like them( not them and not at all preferably ) -they are true class act I highly recommend them thank you

Beautiful property on the lake!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay during Christmas holidays! My husband, three grown boys, our dog and I stayed very comfortably at this beautiful property. It was decorated for Christmas which was a wonderful added touch. It had everything we needed and the owner wrote down many details that were very helpful during our stay. My boys had a great time playing tennis and we were very happy sleeping in the spacious rooms. We plan to come back in the summer to stay at this home to enjoy the pool and lake as we will be back to LaGrange to visit family!

Georgia on our mind

This property was ideal for our visit and the number of guests we had. The outside property was amazing! The adults could converse while the kids entertained themselves. We were so close to the wedding we attended if we forgot anything it wasn’t a problem because we could easily get back to the house and grab whatever we needed. The host answered all of our questions prior to our arrival! It was perfect!!

I can discount cleaning from the $300 a night because less to take care of when pool covered no plants and such during off season DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE -the site doesn't allow for the fluctuation with cleaning fee as it does on the nightly rate so contact me I can adjust manually during winter months again if less people than the base rate of 10 people
