The host made everything every easy and smooth during our check in process. He went above and beyond when I had issues booking through VRBO and did everything needed to make sure we were able to secure a booking. The property was clean and very nice.

We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay while doing backcountry activities in Shasta! We could easily cook in the kitchen, had plenty of heaters and blankets, and enjoyed the fireplace.

Overall listing was as expected. I was rather disappointed that there were no curtains on two windows that were where the bathroom and bedrooms were. I find it pretty uncomfortable that there is potential for people to see in but not being able to see out. Also, cleaner showed up right at check out time which was rather awkward when trying to pack up my vehicle for departure. I also then had to back out the entire length of the very steep driveway because this woman also had a man with her in the car blocking the turnaround space. While traveling as a solo female and unexpected man is a bit unnerving.

There are bllnds on all the bedroom, living room and kitchen windows. The bathroom window is high up and faces a greenspace where people do not go. My housekeeper arrived after the check out time and does a lot of deep cleaning this time of year and needs to get the cleaning done on a schedule as mine is not the only cleaning she does. The man in the car was her son who helps with the yard work.

this was my first time booking so was a bit confused on how to extend our stay. I appreciate getting to refund for Mon -Tues when i need to be back home. Clean and i enjoyed sleeping on the deck under the stars while my colleagues took the rooms and couch.

It is a rustic house with a wood stove which provides plenty of heat in the winter. There are also baseboard heaters in the bedrooms. Pets are welcome and there is a fenced back yard. If you enjoy cooking your own meals, the kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances.
