Welcome to Riverpaw Retreat, a spacious and modern creekside cabin designed for families, couples, and small groups, comfortably sleeping up to 8 guests. Experience rustic elegance with serene views of Mountaintown Creek.

Coffee Station: Dedicated area with Keurig coffee machine.

We had a great stay! The home was perfect and the area is beautiful. The amount of deer we saw was just incredible we had one come right up to our car window. The host was great with communication and while we didn’t bring our dogs we loved how dog friendly the home is. We would definitely come back. My one wish would have been a firepit on the upper deck for early mornings coffee.

Just a family weekend getaway. The cabin is beautiful. Well furnished. Extremely clean. Excellent view of the river the trees , the hot tub was great. A stocked game room. We really needed more time to take full advantage of everything. Next time we will definitely stay longer. Definitely 5 out of 5

Overall, the experience was wonderful. Great views, open floor, great game room for kids, and coffee on the deck in early morning is a must. We loved our stay and would definitely go back. We even lost power during a storm and our host was responsive in a timely manner. Thank you very much

My wife and I often rent cabins in this area, and though most are for larger groups we always enjoy have the place to ourselves. This cabin is very well thought out and well appointed, with a well designed and appointed kitchen, plenty of space, a wonderful outdoors space and a quiet and scenic location. We encountered deer several time during our stay which was a plus. Although the cabin is adjacent to the river, getting down and back up with a 140 stairs can be challenging for us older visitors. We have stayed in this community several times prior and this cabin was certainly one of the best! We would certainly recommend!!

We just love Coosawattee River Resort. Tucked into the North Georgia mountains, the area immediately stood out for its peaceful setting—surrounded by forest, wildlife, and the calming presence of the river. It felt like a true escape from the pace of everyday life, while still being an easy drive to all of the attractions of Ellijay and Blue Ridge.

The resort itself was a huge draw. With amenities like multiple pools, river access, hiking trails, fishing ponds, pickleball & tennis courts, and a fitness center, it provides something to enjoy year-round without ever needing to leave the community. It strikes that rare balance of feeling both private and active—whether we want a quiet weekend on the deck or a fun, full day outdoors.

It is also such an easy drive to our favorite wineries, breweries & waterfalls!
