This peaceful house in Cape May Point offers 4 cozy bedrooms with a mix of queen, full, and twin beds. With 2 bathrooms featuring both a shower and bathtub, guests can relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The property boasts heating, AC, grilling area and an outside shower. Whether you're looking for a tranquil retreat or an enjoyable family getaway, this amazing home is the perfect choice. We're happy to assist with any questions while you stay at our beach cottage.

French doors open to nature onto a 40 foot screened in front porch graced by white wicker furniture. Bird feeders adorn the yard which makes bird watching the 100’s of birds quite irresistible. The porch is always the favorite retreat of all the visiting guests.

The kitchen has two cooking areas that look out into the open living room This is another favorite feature of those who love to have home family meals. Many great seafood delights have been created at “The Lost Pelican” beach cottage with many more to come!

Great location for birding and sunsets!

Clean, spacious property for our family. Close proximity to Cape May Point State Park - enjoyed birding and hiking. The bay is only a couple of blocks away - great for sunsets!

Amazing vacation home!

This is the perfect house on CMP for our family of 5! We loved the screened in porch, outdoor patio and fully equipped kitchen. The house is comfortable and very clean. We loved staying at the Lost Pelican and cannot wait to go back!

The Lost Pelican

We stayed for 4 days in October at the Lost Pelican in Cape May Point, and our family had a great time. Very close to the beach, house was comfortable and well appointed, and the street is very quiet. We definitely recommend staying at the Lost Pelican.

LA warm and cozy Gathering Cottage

We were very comfortable at this beach cottage. We found it to be located near a variety of fun activities such as the Lighthouse ,Sunset Beach and the town of Cape May. The beautiful kitchen and large front porch were a fam favorite!I This cottage provides a lovely place for a relaxing winter retreat!

Another wonderful week at The Point!

Wonderful house! Jan and Scott are amazing to work with, and their home is absolutely adorable! Extremely clean, well-stocked with kitchen essentials, terrific location. We loved our week at the shore and in the Lost Pelican and we were sad to leave at week’s end!

Beautiful home

This was a wonderful home in a great location. We spent many hours on the amazing screened in porch. The rooms were all clean and well furnished. The kitchen was excellent with all that we needed. Loved our short bike rides to the beach. Thank you for a beautiful stay and we would love to come back.

Cape May Point bliss!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay - lovely area and house, and great communication with Jan & Scott. The house is well equipped with an idyllic front yard and had ample room for a group. We loved the screened in porch with the high ceiling! The closest beach is our favorite in Cape May point. Highly recommend!

Perfect week

Our stay at the "Lost Pelican" was just so lovely. The location cannot be beat. Blocks from the beach and Nature sanctuary. We were always about a 6-8 minute drive to delicious restaurants. Jan was always available by message for any questions. It was just perfect for our needs!!

Wonderful Beach Holiday

The Lost Pelican is a wonderful place to stay for a beach holiday. The star of the show is the large screened in porch, coming in second is the cathedral ceiling living room. The stairs to the second floor are wide and safe for children. A very short walk to the beach, especially nice for watching the sunset after dinner. I highly recommend The Lost Pelican!

So cozy in Ophelia

Very clean, cozy and comfortable. Rode out the hurricane in safety. Annual sisters weekend. We love CMP. Next time will bring a chrome cast or Roku in case of storms.

Great spot in Cape May Point!

The “Lost Pelican” is a delightful, well equipped, spacious four bedroom cottage with plenty of charm. The kitchen was well equipped and had plenty of room for 2 cooks in the kitchen! I think the best feature of the house is the full length screened in porch that was the gathering point for meals, games and just hanging out! We had a great Cape May Point vacation and Jan and Scott were perfect hosts!

We Had a Great Time at The Lost Pelican!

The Lost Pelican is very comfortable and Cape May Point is charming and quiet. The front porch is decorated with your comfort in mind…two ceiling fans, ample cushioned wicker chairs, wicker side tables, wicker cushioned couch and two wicker cushioned rockers along with a picnic table to have meals at. When we were not at the beach or tasting wine at a local winery, we were on the front porch. We will stay here again!

A lovely experience

We had a great time at the Lost Pelican! It was comfortable, spacious, and well appointed. And we loved the decor. Jan and Scott responded quickly to all our inquiries and were very helpful. The Point was a great place to stay--away from the Cape May traffic and hubbub, but close enough to enjoy the beaches and restaurants. And we enjoyed being waking distance from the lovely Sunset beach.

The house was perfect for our family reunion at Cape May Point.

Thank you for making it possible for our family to have a space large enough to accommodate my husband and son’s family. Even though it was too cold to take advantage of the wonderful screened end porch, we still had room for everyone to gather in the spacious living room. And the kitchen is also a great feature of the house. We love coming to Cape May Point in all seasons.

Good house for family of five. Very clean. The kitchen is well equipped. One minute bike ride to beach. Nice quiet street. Rode our bikes all over CMP and Cape May, car sat in driveway the whole time.

Great Stay at Cape May Point

Our stay at the Lost Pelican was fantastic. My wife and I, our two young sons and my parents all stayed here for a week and there was plenty of space for all of us. The large kitchen island and open concept living room area made meals / hanging out easy and relaxing. The huge screened-in porch was great for relaxing in the afternoons and evenings. The location is excellent - just a few minutes walk to the beach. Cape May Point is an incredible location - quaint and quiet but still very close to Cape May and all it has to offer (shops, restaurants, etc.). Scott and Jan were great hosts.

Girls weekend....

We had a wonderful time at the point. The Kitchen is well stocked, pots, pans, dishes, excreta. We did not need a thing. The house is clean and very comfortable. Our group of 5 women enjoyed the weekend tremendously. We would recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay in Cape May. Thank You again, Chris and friends...

Wonderful home. Perfect for Birding Weekend with Girlfriends!

The home is located in beautiful Cape May Point. Really lovely cottage! Close to many birding hotspots. Nice space for 3 or 4 Girlfriends or two small families. Kitchen is lovely. Front porch is lovely. Fans in every bedroom. We did not have to go to the store for everyday staples like hand soap or dishwasher detergent. Bed spreads and comforters on all beds. The hosts were amazing! We want to return!
