We were in town for a 50th SVHS Reunion. This was a lovely place and we enjoyed our stay! We had intended to spend a day playing tourist but decided to stay in and enjoy the peaceful location before heading out the next day. This will definitely be our go to place to stay. The chickens were a bonus! )

Wine, relaxation, and a cozy fire

We had a great stay again. Just know that the bedroom and kitchen are separate but connected by a breezeway. For us, this is ideal, as I get up early to work, and my wife likes to wake up slowly with a cup of coffee, eventually. The magic is at night, when you get back and build a little fire in the chiminea, open a bottle of wine and watch the sun set.

Delightful Sonoma cottage

Perfect Sonoma couple getaway - great living spaces indoor and out. Very comfortable king size bed. Close to town and short drive to wineries and Jack London Park . Hosts friendly and informative. Would definitely stay here again!

Good Location

Great location. Property owner is on site and is a great guy. Be aware it is 2 separate buildings. Comfortable bed. Chicken coop in the backyard…. Added entertainment

Wonderful getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and relaxing property. The cottage had everything that we needed. We drank our coffee while watching the deer in the backyard and walked downtown almost every day via the nearby bike path. Sonoma is a beautiful place and we took advantage of this property’s location to visit many of the highlights of the Sonoma and Napa Valleys including wineries, fine dining, hiking and state forests..

Paradise in Sonoma

I proposed to my wife at this lovely property. Jim and Diana are the perfect hosts. They are so on top of things, but yet respect your privacy. We absolutely love this cottage!! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Sonoma/Napa. This property was close to all of the wineries we visited, and to some outstanding restaurants. A perfect Sonoma hideaway

My wife and I spent three nights in Sonoma at this detached cottage. The place was very private and quiet in a nice neighborhood on the outskirts. Sleeping was very comfortable, we cooked breakfast before the adventures of the day. Relaxing patio. Easy drive to nearby wine country spots including Healdsberg, Napa and Yountville. Owners were warm and gave great recommendations.

Sonoma Getaway

First time visit to Sonoma area for both me and my friend. We were thrilled to find this great place to stay, a gem of a hidden cottage behind the main house. Jim (and his smiley grand-daughter) gave us a friendly welcome and some tips for walking trail into town and where to find a coffeeshop. This clean, comfortable and tranquil setting is so much closer to town than we expected, and the jasmine on the breezeway completed an idyllic stay. I would love to come again!

Diana and Jim are both retired after long and successful careers in the technology arena. Diana grew up in Missouri and is a graduate of Drury University. Jim grew up in upstate New York and is a graduate of Syracuse University. They have lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 20 years.

We joyfully lived in Casa de Luna for a year, while our new home was being built. This unique and coveted location is only a 15-minute walk, 5-minute bike ride and 1/2-mile drive to downtown Sonoma Square. It is quiet, peaceful and has everything you need to live for a month or a lifetime.
Behind the cottage, there are mountain and meadow views, surrounded by flower gardens, olive and fruit trees, starry skies and full moons. A serene country setting, for both friends and family, for an ideal getaway.

The Casa de Luna is a specially crafted cottage, situated on one acre and located in the heart of the city of Sonoma. The exclusive cottage offers designer style living in 840 square feet, with field and mountain views from a beautiful patio in the rear. Casa de Luna cottage consists of two major buildings, connected by a breezeway. The cottage is located in the rear of our property with complete privacy and security. Parking is next to the cottage. With only 1/2 mile or 15-minute walk, the cottage is next to the bike path for easy access to restaurants, wineries and the Town Square.
It is also an easy driving distance to some of the most scenic areas of the country...San Francisco (45 minutes), the North coast of Mendocino (one hour), Lake Tahoe (3 hours) and Yosemite (3 hours).
