Poor customer service and Beware of small print!

We book homes every year in Cape Coral and we love the area for beaches and relaxation. This year we tried the Wischis properties to see how they are. Initially I was very upset even before we got to the house as we also booked a boat from their group months before our vacation. A week before our trip Wischis management called and told us the boat is broken so they don’t have a boat for us! Really? Not even assistance to get us something else? We’ll strike one in my book. During our stay my wife went to use the microwave and simply pushing the button the stainless panels that appeared to be held on by two way tape fell off. This made the microwave useless until we found a work around…strike two!! The house is also behind the lock in the canals which makes it a pain when you have to wait 2-3 hours for access to the gulf. To top it all off a few weeks after our trip I get a charge against my deductible saying that this was my electric charge for the week?! Who charges electricity on a rental home?? Strike three!!! It’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard. They say you have a 5$ allowance per day. How is someone supposed to know what electricity they will use? Never in all the years I’ve used VRBO has a home charged us electricity. Of course it’s in a separate details section to make it hard to find. The Wischis group clearly can’t stand up against the other home rentals in the area, their shady practices and lack of customer support should make any new customers think twice before using them in the future. Hope this helps the next person….

Gorgeous, Peaceful, Fun!

This home is exactly what the pictures show. It was clean, beautiful, and the kids loved the pool! We enjoyed bike riding around the neighborhood, looking for fish in the canal. We went to the Cape Coral Beach one of the days and that was pretty cool too. Short drive, small beach which I like, and there was a restaurant right next to it. We cooked and grilled mostly at the house. Kitchen is fully stocked, Only issue was the hot tub took a long time to heat up (Like a Couple hours), but I guess that's because we're used to gas. Other than that this place was Fantastic! Oh and the foosball table definetly got used numerous times a day between us and our 3 kids. We loved playing that!
