This 1,500-square-foot, single-family home sits steps from the beach near the St. Augustine Pier, in a charming residential neighborhood full of swaying palms. Located just off A1A, on a quiet residential street that leads to a beach walkway, this home is within walking distance of shops, a farmers market, award-winning restaurants, and open-air sports bars. The pier is less than half a mile away, providing a great land-based ocean fishing opportunity. In addition, St. Augustine's St. George Street and historic downtown are only six miles away, offering old-world charm and an abundance of history.

After a fun day at the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower before heading into your vacation home. The interior is flooded with light and colorful, beach-inspired decor (including a mermaid in nearly every room). The second floor, with its open-concept design and vaulted ceilings, features north-facing windows, a large living and dining area, a kitchen, and a balcony with a partial ocean view. Take advantage of your downtime by reading some of the provided books or whipping out a puzzle to complete together. Guests with a green thumb are sure to love the herb garden box. The kitchen is well-appointed for preparing your favorite meals, the dining table offers a view of St. Augustine Pier, and the living room includes a TV and DVD player for the evening hours. Also on the second floor are two beautifully decorated bedrooms and two bathrooms, including a primary suite with its own bathroom.

Nestled downstairs beyond the entry-level door is a hallway that serves as the perfect place for hanging beachwear, towels, and your favorite sun hat, as well as parking your sandy shoes. Additional amenities include lots of beach toys, beach chairs, free WiFi, and plenty of parking in the driveway.

Everything about the house was as described. It was one of the cleanest houses we have ever rented. The location was great. The beds were comfortable. It was a very short walk to the beach and close to St. Augustine.

This home is exactly as described. Close to the bea h is an understatement, I have walked farther in a grocery store to buy milk than to get to the beach. Great food and treats also near by. Fantastic place to stay, a mini resort without the crowds.

Our check in went smoothly, with the exception of a non-functioning dead bolt for the front door and confusion on how to connect to the cable, but our concerns were promptly taken care of by the property manager. The house was as advertised and my wife enjoyed the closeness of the ocean. We were able to entertain the gathering of teachers who had taught together over thirty years ago and had a great time.

This is a beautiful home that is literally steps from the beach. The living area is on the 2nd story with partial views of the ocean. I love the little porch off of the kitchen. It was very tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and utensils which was very convenient. We walked across the street to an ice cream place that was awesome. The check-in instructions were easy to follow as well as WiFi access. The only issue we had was zero TV access. The afternoon we checked in we notified the company that we had no TV and we got a response that the cable company was being contacted but they did not do anything during our stay. This was not a problem for my husband and myself because we could play games or read a book, however the friends that came with us are used to watching TV every evening and we’re not happy with no access.

Wonderful beach stay

This house was perfect for my husband, daughter, and I. Two bedrooms with private bathrooms upstairs plus a non air conditioned hang out area downstairs in the tuck under garage. (You cannot park in the garage). There are 16 steps to the upper floor, so it may not be good a good house if you have mobility issues. The small deck off the kitchen was perfect to have breakfast in the morning. The neighborhood was quiet except for one truck alarm that went off almost every night. Sometimes in the middle of the night. The breath is close, but it’s a long ways from the start of the beach to the water.

Absolutely perfect! Excellent location! Steps away from the beach. Short walk to restaurants and pier. House was very clean and very comfortable. We will definitely be coming back!

Great place!

The only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars, the bed was VERY firm and the only tv was not a smart tv.. There seemed to be an issue with the plumbing as every time you took a shower there was a strong sewage smell. Other than that, it was steps away from the beach and walking distance to food and shops. Would book again!

Perfect for our getaway!

The home was very clean, equipped, and comfortable!! We felt very at home during our stay at this property. The access to the beach is just a few steps away. Also was close to downtown St Augustine, different restaurants, and coffee shops. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering booking this home your vacation.

Great host and Location

Enjoyed 3 nights at this property. Owner is very thoughtful. The house was well equipped and the location of the house was great ... only 1/2 block from beach. Property was equipped with beach chairs etc. Hope to return.

30 seconds and you are on the Beach! Good for 2 adults and 2 small children as the beds are not big. Easy kitchen to cook meals and tons of restaurants near by that are walkable.

Fall Break

This was a great little spot for the kids to enjoy the beach during their fall break. The beach was not crowded at all and the close access made it easy for quick trips back and forth to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

My main concern with this property and the reason of this review is that the sofa bed is in the garage and the garage does not have AC. We were a party of 6 and my 2 kids had to sleep in the recliners on the second floor due to lack of AC where the sofa bed is. Description should clarify that sofa bed is in a garage without AC. The garage has been modified as a living space… WITHOUT AC. June vacation in Florida without AC??? This was brought up to Vacasa the day of check in and they deliver 2 fans the next day. I have live in florida for 7 years, fans during the summer are not enough. We use AC even in the winter. That space needs AC or they need to move the sofa bed up stairs instead of the recliner if they want to advertise that that house sleeps 6.

Short walk to the beach

The location was amazing. Closer than expected. The house was very clean. We had 5 in our party 3 adults and 2 kids. There were only 4 chairs for the dining room table. We used the pull out sofa for the kids and couldn't find a reasonable cover for them. Early checkin would've been nice since we made better timing then we thought. Seems like the cleaners were finished before we got there.

Perfect family weekend

The property was as described and was perfect for our small adult family of two couples. Lots of room downstairs for larger families with teens, etc. Walking distance to Sunset Grill and other eateries. Short drive to the Amphitheater. Very well appointed and decorated with a short walk to the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Best Location!!!!

Best locatio!!! Just walk up to the beach!!! House has everything, even a shower outside to remove sand from beach. And just down the street a wonderful ice cream shop. 🍦Beds comfortable and each room has their own bathroom. Enjoyed staying here. If looking for a place where to just walk a few steps and the beach be there this is the place.

We enjoyed our stay, only problem wash machine did not work. But they sent someone day of checkout to repair.

Great location - few steps from the beach and restaurants

Place is great. The location is better. However, I would change three things if I were the owner. Put a king bed in one of the rooms. It’s not necessary to have a night stand on both sides of the bed when your on vacation. That’s a must for us to come back as my wife slept in one room and I self in the other. Put an AC unit in the garage. That space is not useful in August when it’s 100 degrees outside. We actually brought the two roll out beds upstairs in the living room for the kids. In the winter months, this is probably not an issue. Last, a refrigerator with an ice machine is a must for a property like this. Ice trays are not sanitary and the ones there are broken & leak. So when you first fill them and put in the freezer they leak all over the food until it freezes. While small, it’s annoying and the outdated fridge doesn’t match the rest of the home. Other than that, it’s an awesome area. We come often and eat at Sunset Grill, Salt life, and the Mexican joint by Publics. Starbucks is in the Embassy Suites if you need it and a great ice cream shop at the end of the street.

We really enjoyed this for our spring break. We go to St Augustine at some time every year and will definitely try to stay here again.
