This is our RV set up on a bluff overlooking Palo Pinto Lake in Gordon, Texas. Just a couple blocks away is our home on the lake. Just a one hour drive from Fort Worth and 2 hours from Dallas. My wife and I have enjoyed this hill country type area since 1978 and we purchased this nearby 1.5 acre lot to make our RV available for folks to enjoy the lake and beautiful mountains of Palo Pinto. Activities here include fishing, kayak, walking, biking, boating; seveal great restaurants like the famous Mary's Cafe, Mimi's cafe, Smokestack restaurant and New York Hill Restaurant all within a 15-20 minute drive. Also, the new Texas State Park, first in 25 years, recently opened just 20 minutes away in Strawn. Very peaceful and secluded retreat. You'll want to come back!

Very little traffic for enjoyable walking and biking around on low traffic roads around the lake. This scenic area is known as the beginning of the mountain range of the Texas Hill Country that passes through Austin Texas. Palo Pinto has similar mountainous terrain, with beautiful pastures and scenic ranch lands.
この宿泊施設の特徴
Our RV is very comfortable and attached to a large elevated deck on the bluff. Enjoy gorgous sunset views over the lake, along with the firepit, barbecue and picnic area that makes you want to stay outside. Relax and enjoy the mountain top breeze and gorgeous views of the lake and surroundings. Take a short nature hike, but be careful as the trail goes down the mountain side.
