Our Alta Vista Experience

I would like to thank Jojo for all his help in meeting us at the airport, guiding us to the rental, gathering coconuts for our grandchildren and needed repairs in the house. My biggest complaint is that the view online is no longer; now there are condos in front so it is difficult to see the ocean. This needs to be updated as it was the first thing I noticed when I arrived. The house worked well for our family group and I enjoyed that the pool was "part of the house" so it was accessible for all. And being up high allowed constant cooling breezes. We did get over the lack of view and a good time was had by all.

We enjoyed our stay at Long bay . This was our third time to T and C and each one have been enjoyable and different. The beach is truly a 5 minute walk form the house and worth it. It is on the bay and 99% of the time no one was at the beach. that was very important to us. We were six adults. We took an umbrella and a couple of chairs and it was lovely. You can also go to other beaches easily. JoJo the manager was around helpful in meeting us up and arranging the covid tests which were essential . The owner and Jo Jo also made sure all the travel requirements went through in a timely fashion He does have another property to manage and they were "high maintenance" but that had no impact on us once we knew the way to the beach. The property itself is comfortable and cottage like. It could use some updating but was more than functional. The deck is outstanding for the sun and view and the pool is lovely . We enjoyed ourselves as always on T and C

We did not want to leave!

Wow. We had great ocean views, private pool, fully functional kitchens. Great WIFI, TV's and DVD Players. Very close to the resorts, beaches, dining and shopping. Jojo, our concierge was very attentive, friendly, and made sure we had what we needed. He gave us tips on everything from local food shopping, to restaurants, best beaches and excursions! I highly recommend this property!!

Loved our stay at Alta Vista!

A beautiful, neat and tidy home with all the creature comforts. Located within minutes of all the best snorkeling spots which was a priority for us. Jojo was there the moment we got off the plane and for any other questions or needs we had. It was wonderful having a resident expert at the ready. The sunsets, pool, walks to long bay, and breezes were the best. Will definitely come back.

Great family vacation

From the initial booking to saying goodbye at the airport, our trip to Alta Vista was amazing. Jojo was a delight, offering assistance when needed yet remaining on the perimeter at the ready to offer suggestions and guidance when asked. Maya made sure our accommodations were to our liking Alta Vista was clean and provided us with any amenity we could have desired. The location was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the decks and pool. I would highly recommend Alta Vista... you won’t be disappointed

An amazing Provo experience

We enjoyed staying at Alta Vista Villa. The island is super safe and all the staff was super helpful. We especially loved all of the amazing food Maya our chef prepared. We have been to many of the Caribbean islands but Provo is especially beautiful with its turquoise waters!!

Great pool and wonderful sunsets!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Alta Vista Villa. The house is on Long Bay which is just beautiful and so very private. Another big plus is Jojo the Property Manager. He was very helpful with suggestions regarding everything from the Thursday fish fry to places to eat. It's a perfect 4 bedroom home.

Nice views, great pool, loved the deck upstairs

We came to the island with another family so we had 4 adults and 7 children. The children loved the pool. Jojo was a wonderful host and very helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best island experience. Our family stayed in the downstairs unit which is a little more closed off than the upstairs one, but we spent such little time there and the beds were really comfortable so it suited us just fine. Having laundry in both units was really nice. We liked being away from the hustle and bustle of Grace Bay but easily able to head back there with our rental car if we desired. It was a fairly short walk to Long Bay Beach which was great for our kids - ages 4 to 14.

This property was perfect for us

This property was the perfect fit for our 13 family members. We had so much space, separate lounges, kitchens, laundry, etc. The accommodations are fantastic as the beach frontage was luxurious, the pool was lovely, and the outdoor patio was spacious and comfortable. The staff kept us needing nothing the entire time! We highly recommend you use their cook as she cooked the most amazing meals too.

Perfect!

Alta Vista is a real gem. It is clean, modern and the private pool is fantastic. The 5 min walk to the beach is pleasant and, when you get there, eye-popping blue water. We snorkeled and swam but best snorkeling was Bight Beach on Grace bay. Jojo and Maya will be there as much/little as you like. Having the two units was key for our two families. Two gas grills were great. It was our first time to Turks... Not to miss: Thursday fish fry, The Kebob Shack, and Bella Luna (pricey Italian but awesome food.) The owner, Donna, answered all of my questions with great detail. We have been to many islands but Provo is our new #1.

Alta Vista

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at Alta Vista and it was wonderful ! We used both the upper and lower units for our family. Both units are beautifully decorated with lots of seating for guests, the kitchens in each unit are well equipped and there is a large BBQ on the patio. The washer and dryers in each unit came in very handy. Alta Vista is a private and quiet location and daily we enjoyed the incredible views of Long Bay from both patio's knowing the beach is a short walk away. The pool is lovely and we took full advantage of it. The owners, Donna and Jeff are very accommodating and easy to work with, they helped us with all of our questions and made sure we knew about all of what Provo has to offer. Their Caretaker, Jojo stopped by regularly to make sure our stay was an enjoyable one. We would highly recommend Alta Vista and look forward to returning.

Alta Vista is better than Grace Bay

Grace Bay in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, is a wonderful place, with a fabulous beach and many restaurants. But if you are looking for for something even more special, Alta Vista has it. If you already know how to drive on the left, if you want to explore the island, and the sea, (the nearby Marina rents seadoos and runs fishing excursions), or are really into kite boarding, and want a place to enjoy evenings in comfort and style, and like to barbecue and swim (not maybe at the same time), Alta Vista will accommodate you well. We stayed in the upstairs section, with a great kitchen/dining/living room, a fabulous veranda, and large bathroom and a two piece ensuite in one of the two bedrooms. Downstairs, there were two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a good kitchen/dining/living room space. The views were spectacular in all directions. The pool was great. Long Bay Beach was a less than a five minute walk. Shops and restaurants on the Grace Bay side were maybe a ten minute drive, but where we were, there was always a good breeze, there was always quiet, and there was always space. And the night sky was spectacular!

A GREAT PLACE TO STAY!

Our recent stay at Alta Vista was wonderful! The property is in a quiet and private location in Longbay with beautiful views. The upper unit was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck each morning and made good use of the BBQ too. The outdoor deck and space was great for lounging, dining and entertaining our guests. We love Longbay and Gracebay beaches for swimming but we could not get enough of the pool. We truly just relaxed poolside by ourselves. Jojo the caretaker was a pleasure to deal with. He got us settled in and was there if we needed anything. The owners, Donna and Jeff are wonderful hosts! Thank you again and we look forward to our return trip. We would definitely recommend The Alta Vista. Both upper and lower units are beautiful. We had a great time.

amazing experience inTurks and Caicos

In February we booked a house on Providenciales via VRBO that was damaged a week before our trip in October. The owner of that rental notified us that the house was uninhabitable and proceeded to make all the arrangements for us to stay at the Green's 'Alta Vista Villa' (after sending us the information and getting our approval). I must say we were so incredibly pleased!! Donna Green contacted us before our trip and had arranged for someone to meet us at the airport to help us find the grocery, the house and get us settled!! She sent us all sorts of information regarding the Island, chefs, tips, good places to eat, etc. The house is beautiful, very comfortable and extremely clean! It worked out perfectly for our group! Bathrooms for each room, 2 complete kitchens, a beautiful pool, awesome view....I could go on, and on so I will suffice to say it was really an amazing experience.

The perfect Getaway

Alta Vista was a perfect setting for our getaway. The property was very well maintained and the views were stunning. I especially enjoyed the large deck with bbq overlooking the marina. The owner of the poperty was very helpful in answering all our questions prior to arrival and our stay at Alta Vista was the vacation we had dreamed of.

The views are spectacular and the villa is very close to Long Bay and the Caicos Marina. A very affordable price for great amenities- 30' pool, AC,WIFI,4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms,2 living rooms with davenports, new construction, granite kitchen countertops, marble tops in the bathrooms.
