Winter Break Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. We had a couple questions regarding the trash bins outside being full before we arrived, the fridge water not working and if the home had a garage door opener. All our questions were answered timely. Fridge water is still not working, but they said maintenance would be looking into it. The home was well stocked with towels, extra linens,

Thanksgiving in Jammie’s!

What a great stay. Super close to the amenities we wanted, clean home with lots of kitchen supplies! Beds are comfie. Only downside is the queen bed is hard for short or older people to get onto as it’s very tall. Otherwise it was great.

Great home in Sunriver!

Close to fort rock park, and only a 7 minute bike ride from the SHARC. We used the passes almost every day. Would definitely stay here again!

Property managers were outstanding!

Great house and location. There was a problem with the garage door and the property manager had it fixed in record time. They hooked us up with transportation and had a crew out to repair the door before we got home from dinner. Great job!

Amazing

We had an amazing experience. Great location, we went snowboarding at Mt bachelor the drive was about 20 mins. Our kids loved the backyard. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect for the price

Wonderful kitchen. Awesome couch/recliners. Hot tub was excellent (cover was a bit difficult for grandpa to do). Great stock of cooking pots/pans, utensils, and grilling supplies. Location was very simple. Nice bathrooms. Even details like the tv clickers were easy and nice. Master king bed was a bit hard for our liking. The bikes were not that great either. Bring your own or rent some. Overall 4.75 out of 5.

Great house!

Really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and cute house with a nice hot tub! Kitchen is nice but could use more cooking utensils and such.

We made a last minute decision to go to Sun River for New Year's and were able to get this house. Contact with the management company was prompt and seamless. Upon arrival we received a Harry and David gift box because the house wasn't quite ready. The house was immaculate, the kitchen was nicer than mine at home and stocked with nicer dishes. We were having such a nice time we asked to stay another day. We have stayed in Sun River many, many times. This stay ranked at the top.

Holiday stay at Sunriver Popular 32

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house recently remodeled the kitchen and bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocks with an assortment of pot, pans, utensil and kitchen gadgets. It did not have a coffee grinder and the 'above the stove' microwave was built in too high for most average height folks. I am 5' 3" and could not see into the microwave. We had 2 families with a total of 8 people in this house. Great space for family meals and meal preparation and comfortable living room to gather. The smaller 2nd bedroom with a king was small due to the large King bed in that room. The owner would be advised to place a queen size bed and then put some furniture or bed stands for storage. We stayed after Christmas and departed before New Years (a very busy time). The garbage was not emptied from the previous rentals and due to the holiday schedule we could not throw out our garbage because of the the full outside garbage cans for most of our stay. Overall a comfortable house for 2 families. We cross country skied near the Mt Bachelor area and hiked around the Deschutes River. Both activities were conveniently located. The management company was very receptive and professional to deal with. Nice time had by both families.

Week long family vacation in Sunriver.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have to be honest. We were OK with the house. The cleaning was OK but found many items on the carpet left behind by previous renters and not cleaned. (candy under end tables. It just looked like it hadn't been vacumned thoroughly). The patio furniture was uncomfortable and cheap. Kitchen was great. Updated and wonderful utensils and pots and pans. Arriving at the office to check in I found the personnel unfriendly and certainly no smiles or "how are you's". Very off-putting atmosphere. We rented from Village Properties last year and they greeted us and were very personable. Not a warm welcoming feeling at your office.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is small, though the kitchen has been remodeled the rest of the house is dated. The fire place leaked propane so the whole house was filled with gas when we walked in which instantly caused migrains. The listing picture of the house showed 6 adult bikes and listed 4 but when we got to the house there were two broken bikes. We had to spend over a hundred dollars to rent bikes for the weekend. There were multible spiders in the house, and no filters for the coffee maker. Cascara staff were helpfull in all these problems but we were hoping to get a some kind of compensation for all that is wrong with this rental which we have not. We have rented multiple sunriver houses in the past and this property falls short.

Think twice before renting!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This visually is a very nice house. However, we just rented it for 9 days and was very disappointed in the quality of the Cascara. The house is set up for 8 people. The kitchen had 7 plates, 6 forks, 1 wine glass, disgusting pots and pans, no skillet larger then an omelette size, and very few measuring utensils. To top things off the BBQ was on its last leg and a huge fire risk as it sat on the extremely brittle deck. How was I suppose to cook for our 6? I politely went to the rental agency with pictures of my evidence and asked them to supply me with a properly stocked rental. They did show up with everything I needed that day, but not once did they follow up to see if our needs were meet which I found to be poor customer service. They brought us a new used BBQ that same day too. However, they delivered a brand new one the day before we left. When I checked out the person who helped me with my request wouldn't even acknowledge me. At the time I asked them twice if they held their properties to any standards and she never addressed my the question. For these reasons don't expect anything beyond the pictures. Since it is my knowledge that they don't hold their properties to any standards and with their lack of customer experience I will never rent from them again. Cleanliness - master white shower shell has horrible brown stained floor and the toilet feels like it's disconnected when you sit on it. Screen doors barely work. Had to ask for a new comforter due to the 3 large stains that were on cream one. Disgusting! It's in better shape now that I've rented it but they lost my business.

All need to be replaced. Teflon scratched off and not usable. I mentioned much of this after last summer's stay and nothing was improved. House is tired and needs lots of updates.
