The cottage was not only in the perfect location, only 7 minutes from hands, the best splash pad/park “miracle on a mountain”, 3 of Tennessee’s most beautiful and peaceful waterfalls/swimming holes (blue hole falls, fiery gizzard, big creek, greeter falls, and many more tbh) but the community is amazing. Previous reviews must have been taken into consideration because the two AC units provided perfect living conditions during peak July heat waves. And anything I needed during my stay, from coffee pots, can openers, toaster, bbq pit, you name it, they had it! I wish I could live here freal.. I’ll be back for sure and I’m so thankful for the experience! This cottage provided me and my sons so many core memories and I can’t wait to return in a few months!

I knew this rental was near a state road but there was a lot of traffic noise both day & night. There's nothing to be remedied about traffic. It is what it is! The home had 2 bedrooms which was great and the beds were very comfy. That makes this rental very family friendly. We had no issues getting into the home. There was no need to contact the host. Cleanliness wasn't the best but I'm a neat freak. We enjoyed our stay!!

The house was clean but in the description states it has A/C which in my opinion is misleading. The A/C is window only. It kept most of the house cool but one of the bedrooms was a little hot. Also the mattress in the bedroom off the living room really needs to be replaced. I slept on it one night and woke up the next day with a nightmare backache. My son and I changed beds, even though he is a young in shape guy he said the mattress did not provide much support. He thought it looked like one corner of the mattress was broke down. Also renters need to read the description carefully, I did not therefore I missed the fact there is no washer/dryer. The closest laundromat is an hour away so we made do and handwashed a few items we absolutely needed. That being said the house was pretty cheap so you get what you pay for. We did enjoy the setting.
