This is advertised as "One Bedroom Suite with King Bed and Large Bath - Guadalupe River View." and "These suites are perfect for couples wanting to get away to the Hill Country."
This is totally misleading at best. 1) It is not a one bedroom suite, but rather an efficiency. It has a wooden bed bench at the end of the bed, two chairs (one of which is a desk chair) with no couch or loveseat. The king bed fills up so much of the room there is no room for a bedside table, so anything you need beside your bed has to be put on the floor. 2) There is no "Guadalupe river view"....that is unless you go out your door and look to the right. You sure can't see it from the chair or the bed. 3) It is NOT perfect for couples wanting to get away. There is very little storage and no place for your suitcases, no place to sit together.
I have to say the shower and the sinks are nice. However, the bathroom door is a barn door style giving little privacy and the toilet is right next to the bed....so I hope you are okay with your partners bodily functions...
I wanted this to be a special night so I splurged on what I thought was going to be an excellent choice. In fact, the cost for the one night was substantially more than I would have spent at a nice hotel in Kerrville. I asked the owner (very politely) for a partial refund, which I thought was reasonable, but he declined.
I assure you, I will not go back there even if it's free.
