Designed for privacy and comfort, this stylish coastal retreat features no interior shared walls and sits above a garage - not another living space - so guests enjoy peaceful seclusion. A private stairway leads to the suite and an expansive rooftop deck with 180° panoramic ocean views, perfect for morning coffee or sunset wine. Inside, you’ll find a bright open studio layout with a queen bed and queen sofa bed, dining for four, a full kitchen, and a well appointed bathroom. Guests have exclusive access to the rooftop deck, and their own entrance. Just minutes from the pier and Main Street, Saylor Away offers a serene blend of beach-town charm and modern comfort - an elevated stay above it all.

Super easy check-in, beautiful place in great location. Very responsive and welcoming host. To quote our 3 year old, "I didn't expect it to be so beautiful! " We will definitely look to stay again when visiting family nearby.

Beautiful decorated, high quality appliances, rooftop patio was a treat, all in a very nice apparently very safe neighborhood, 1/2 block from the beach. Couple of minor issues: it is listed under "house", it is not, it is a very private studio apartment, well separated from the main dwelling, but still in the same building. And when unlocking the security lock on the front door, owner did not make clear that you have to hit the "check" after entering the code - took quite a while to get into the front door because of that. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay.Ron O'Brien

I was born and raised just fifteen minutes away, but Seal Beach has always been where my heart feels most at home. Growing up homeschooled, we’d pack our books and head down to Seal Beach to do our schoolwork by the ocean - then wander Main Street for a cinnamon roll from Sweet Jill’s, a new shell from the souvenir shop, or an afternoon in the sand. It’s that same small-town charm and sense of safety that still makes Seal Beach special today. Locals know each other, visitors feel welcome, and there’s always a little salt air in every memory made here.

Our home sits on the quiet north end of Old Town - just 50 steps from the sand, yet removed from the bustle near Main Street. It’s peaceful, easy to find parking, and feels like your own private corner of the coast. The layout itself is special too: a light-filled suite perched above the garage with no shared walls, and a rooftop deck that truly steals the show. From one spot you can take in panoramic ocean views, see the Huntington Beach Pier, and even glimpse the Palos Verdes Peninsula. A local top realtor once told us it’s one of the best rooftop views in Seal Beach - and we couldn’t agree more.
