We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and comfortable. There was a wonderful packet of information which helped for our dining locations - thank you. Plenty of games to play and comfortable areas to relax and chat. I would recommend keeping the Propane for the Fire Pit full and not rely on guests to fill tank if needed. Also, if you include in your packet some things to do, both seasonal and annual.

The host was very accommodating. This home was very clean has everything you need walking distance to grocery store and shops located downtownIf you’re a light sleeper you will hear trains and occasional sirens

Thank you for your feedback, Shelly. I’m glad you enjoyed our convenient downtown location, but I apologize that the city noise impacted your sleep. We want all our guests to feel comfortable, so for those who are sensitive to external sounds, we will provide earplugs and a noise machine to aid in better rest. Thanks again for helping us communicate the downtown experience to future visitors.

Bringing an old farm house into the 21st century while keeping the charm was our goal for Downtown retreat! City life is great but having the ability to come home and retreat from it all and enjoy privacy is absolutely necessary - and we think we nailed it!
