この施設について

The Hideaway Cottage

This cottage is located in Lancaster in the heart of Amish country. Only a short drive away from popular tourist destinations. Surrounded by authentic country beauty, this setting is a peaceful, relaxing get-a-way, perfect for a small family or couple! It has a small porch and yard. Great if you have a small pet!

Unfortunately, we do not have access to a washer or dryer but the nearest laundromat is around 7 minutes away, located in Gap.

Guests have access to the whole property and are welcome to walk the local horse pasture.

Located in a small neighborhood with three other cottages.

This cottage is a wonderful place to stay! We enjoyed our stay and can not wait to go back again. The location is perfect for getting to the best places in Lancaster County. Jenna our host was very quick to respond and provided all the essentials for a wonderful stay at the cabin.

Perfect little getaway! We went to the Sight and Sound Theatre play just 15 minutes away on the back roads. Cute little restaurant just 5 minutes away with amazing food. Cozy 1 bed, 1 bath with a modern cottage style. We loved traveling back roads to find covered bridges and seeing the beautiful landscape of the Amish Countryside. Our host checked to make sure we got in okay the first night, which was very thoughtful. Took our pups, dog crates and it was home away from home.

What an amazing place to stay! I absolutely loved my time here and cannot wait to come back. The host was warm, welcoming, and everything was exactly as described. When I was a child, I would go to Lancaster every November with my family-if I make this an annual trip for myself, I will be staying in THIS cabin. Amazing and beautiful all around!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Hideaway Cottage in Gap. Jenika is an excellent host! The property is very well maintained and very clean. The check-in and check-out process is simple and well explained. The Wi-Fi signal strength is excellent. Our dog also loved the place. We had the use of the nearby horse pasture to walk her and let her run about.

Cabin was lovely! It was just far enough out to be private but had plenty of things to do around the area. The fire pit was great and we used that to roast marshmallows. Would recommend

We had a fantastic time. The cottage was perfect in every way. Loved that is sat back in the trees but still got lots of natural sunlight Through the Windows. Our dogs loved exploring in the woods area around the cottage. I would highly recommend this host and location as a go-to place for vacation weather it be personal or business.

This cabin is one of several. It has its own driveway and sits back in the woods with a nice fire pit. Inside is remodeled and comfortable.
