Had a great time!

My family and I (4 total of us) had an enjoyable time here. It was the perfect size for us and location was great and quiet since it was bikefest week, which we weren’t aware of until after booking.

The location was perfect. The pool was nice. The condo could use an upgrade. The beds were horrible and very uncomfortable. So much so we left a day early. We could not sleep. The tv in the bedroom was useless. It had no cable box or ruko hookup. The kitchen was poorly equipped. The sliding door lock was broken and could lock.

This property worked out great for us - we put the kids in the bedroom and my husband and I used the pull out sofa. The condo itself was decorated with a nautical theme which was nice. The floors were not the cleanest as they made our socks black when we werent wearing shoes. The pool was nice but closes at I think it was 6pm which was a big bummer as thats pretty early for vacation. But for the most part everything was good. Location is very far north but there are restaurants and grocery stores nearby, but like 110 blocks away from the boardwalk. It was fine for our stay we just drove to the boardwalk and paid for parking but if youre a family with kids you may want to stay furthurt south.

Property feels aged, old, and very dirty.

Upon arriving at the front door, the property felt aged. The screen door dirty, worn, and outdated. The same goes for the front door. Upon entering the condo. Floor boards and walls were dirty and dusty. They needed washed. There were small holes in the walls. They need filled and painted. The floor was dirty with black soot. They need mopped after every rental. Lights flickered in the hallway when using the dimmer control light switches. Bedroom light switch did not work. Short hairs found on the trundle bed in the bedroom. Maintenance called and shown the flickering lights, but they could not resolve the issue without the help of an electrician. The bathroom lights sometimes did not turn on immediately. Several seconds passed before the lights in the bathroom turned on. It had a dimmer switch that sometimes did not work properly. Kitchen was very dirty, especially the stove. Baked on food spilled around the sides of the stove and cabinet from previous renters. Droppings and dirt found behind the stove. Maintenance called to vacuum the mess behind the stove, and fill in some holes in the wallboard. They fixed a curtain rod where the curtains hung so low they dragged along the floor possibly causing a tripping hazard. The bottom of the curtains showed the black soot from the floor. The curtains need washed. After seeing the above conditions, we cleaned the condo before feeling comfortable staying here. Unfortunately, I needed management to contact a pest control specialist due to the holes found in the walls. We dealt with the pest issue for about three days out of our seven day stay. The bedroom was not usable for a couple of the days due to the pest. The positives were good amount of parking, the air conditioner worked great, the property was located close to the beach without crossing a major highway. Elevators were fast to get up and down quickly. Although very limited, you could see the ocean. The maintenance folks were friendly and prompt. We would not rent at this building or OC again due to the cleanliness and pest issues at this building. The property has great potential, but it shows some neglect. We were extremely disappointed.

Floor was very Sandy when we walked in( expected when right next to beach lol) It says fully equipped kitchen( very tiny pot and pan)(had to buy a bigger pot and pan) Went to use washer and dryer and looked like it hasn’t been clean in a long time! Lint tray in dryer was so full! The bunk bed in bedroom was lopsided(uncomfortable to sleep) but we managed! Tv didn’t work or internet! View was pretty of the pool! Over all me and my husband and two kids had a great stay n time!

Seemingly updated, but very dirty.

Received very little check-in information. Times listed on listing differed from actual check in/out time. Unit smelled musty upon entering. Washer was mildewing and needed cleaned, dryer was full of sand. Like others stated, the bedroom furniture had red liquid stains on the furniture and the bedroom mattress was filthy. The coffee table needed wiped down, and the amount of dirt we cleaned off was disgusting. The unit had many issues such as open electrical receptacles, Large unpainted sections of poorly patched drywall, broken patio door handle, dirty tile flooring, poor draining shower drain and mold on on the shower tile and shower curtain. The unit overall was very unkept.

Weekend

It was a nice place to stay for 3 nights, only thing that bug me was the floors were dirty when we got there. But I would definitely stay there again!!!

Not great sleeping arrangemenets

Decent place. Nice view of pool, and a little ocean if you look between buildings. Kool Aid spilled on white furniture in bedroom was obvious, but not wiped off. One double bed. Almost fell getting out of bunk bed in middle of night. Frig and freezer completely warm on arrival. Directions say wait 24 hours for it to cool down. For my 3 day vacation, I would like the frig to be cold all 3 days, not just 2. Storage room on balcony would not close (broken). If I stayed at that building again, I would want a higher floor / better view of ocean.

Fully equipped with many amenities but not clean

I enjoyed the stay and we were fairly accommodated. However the floor was fiflthy. It had sand and stains as if it had never been swept or mopped. The couch was also dirty and very difficult to pull out the bed. Overall the location was amazing. The property is old but kept cleaned outside.
