We are local to the area after having lived throughout the Pittsburgh Region. The Kiski Region is a true gem and Armstrong County is known for it's outdoor recreation. We enjoy kayaking on the Kiski River, running on the Leechburg Towpath rails to trails, and visiting the restaurants and coffee shops in the small towns along the river. We've hosted vacation rental properties throughout the region, and have always maintained a 5 start review. This one holds a special place in our hearts and we hope you can see why when you visit!

Hungry Hollow Hideaway is reminiscent of the luxury cabins you'll find in Ohio Pyle or the Laurel Highlands. Its quintessential Pennsylvania countryside. You'll travel a bit of a winding, country road to arrive at the property and a steep gravel driveway to the top, so we recommend 4 wheel drive no mater the time of year! Once you arrive you'll be taken-aback by the peacefulness. A truly private retreat where you can enjoy the fog rising over the hills in the morning or the call of the owl at night. The design of the cabin is meant to enhance the connection with the outdoors - and we trust our guests will find it as a welcome opportunity to recharge!

The cabin is a modern design featuring beautiful real wood floors and ceilings. Its tucked away as the only property on 16 acres. The wall of windows bring the natural beauty of the woods inside. The wood burning stove and firepit lend a cozy ambiance. Every detail is thought through for your stay. Just 10 minutes from shops, restaurants, and coffee! There is no internet or TV to allow our guests the chance to truly unplug and recharge!
