This house is huge, very clean, host had very quick responses. We were there in the fall for a girls’ weekend and shopping in Kennybunkport, which was very close. Of course we didn’t use the pool, but we did have a fire in the fire pit, which was large with lots of chairs. The decks, pool and yard in general look magnificent, would be even more fun in the summer. There are lots of towels, even pool towels behind the bar…yes, a bar too!

This home was perfect for our family trip. It accommodated all ages and the pool was perfect! Having two kitchens is nice but I do wish there were more kitchen utensils/cooking needs and items in both kitchens. Having pool towels was an added bonus too! While this location is close to downtown it’s not a very walkable way to get there so I’d caution that. It’s doable but it’s on a main road with limited sidewalks. We would definitely stay at this home again.

Great location!

We had a wonderful time at the house. It was nice to have a gathering room/big dining room table in the middle of the house, away from the bedrooms, to play games at in the evening. Although we were there in April and the pool was closed, the outdoor space and seating was great to enjoy the warmer weather. The beaches were very close and the town even closer!!

Wonderful family vacation in Maine

This house was perfect for our family vacation! Close to the beach and town, (walkable for some) with access to many wonderful restaurants and shops. Great outside area with a pool, fire pit, and grill. Big enough that our family of twelve never felt crowded!

Amazing stay!

Host was so accommodating with our family, from booking to check in, everything was easy. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and close to downtown Kennebunkport. Would definitely stay here again!

Family Fun in Maine

We had an incredible experience! The house accommodated our family perfectly, offering plentiful space and amenities. We appreciated the cleanliness and thoughtful touches… and the pool was a hit with our kids! It was a great space to unwind after a day at the beach. We look forward to extending our stay next year! Great Family Vacation

Michael's home was the perfect spot for our family's last minute mini-trip to Kennebunk! It was a perfect central location so close to the downtown. The kids loved the pool (they even swam in the rain!) and the adults really liked the firepit area. We travel in a big group and we were lucky to be able to each have our own room and bed. The kitchen was also stocked with everything we needed for family style dinners. We will definitely be coming back!

RENTERS BEWARE — THIS HOUSE DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THE LISTING

Aside from the location (convenient to downtown and beaches) this property is an atrocity. We left our trip 3 days early, and the owners are ignoring us. 1. The property is advertised as “newly renovated top to bottom.” It is not. It has some new cheap vinyl floors (which are buckling due to moisture issues) and granite counters. Lipstick on a pig, at best. It’s dirty, dingy, and gross top to bottom. 2. The house has numerous safety hazards, including broken pool ladders, missing smoke detectors, a dishwasher that falls out, and stairs without safety railings. There are also exterior doors without locks, and a broken bulkhead. 3. The house has a distinct mold odor. It’s terrible, and they try to mask it with 87 glade plug ins. You can see the moisture in the walls and in the floor. The roof also shows numerous leaking areas. The suspected mold gave 2 of our guests mold sickness — my 2 year old daughter and 62 year old mother became extremely ill at the house and felt better within 12 hours of leaving. 4. Electricity issues: the circuit breaker tripped DAILY while doing basic tasks, like running the dishwasher or blow drying hair. We were concerned to use electronics and cause a fire. 5. Cheap and dirty furnishings: for the price of the house, I’d expect a mattress thicker than 4 inches and a couch without stains. We covered all the couches with cleaned blankets because they were so dirty. GROSS. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

Excellent vacation property

Once again this property led to a great family vacation had by all. Walked to the beach each day, about a mile and enjoyed the pool after that. Short ride to restaurants and shops. Plenty of room in the house for large families. Great fire pit!

We now own two vacation properties in the Kennebunkport area and love being able to rent out these homes to guests from all over the country and world. We both work full-time in education and enjoy hiking, cooking, gardening, and playing with our two dogs.

The home has a private in-ground swimming pool located behind the house, surrounded by a 600 square foot wrap-around deck and a two acre yard surrounded by forest.
