We enjoyed our stay on Gravel Lake. This property is on the channel, so it's not great or swimming right off the dock and there is a good bit of boat traffic on the channel. There are four kayaks available and life jackets. The option of renting the pontoon boat was a great feature and we highly recommend it. The kitchen is small and without a dishwasher, but it had everything we needed and the ice machine and beer fridge were handy additions! I may have missed it in the listing, but the room with twin beds only has a curtain and not an actual door. The house itself is an older cottage that has had a garage and other parts perhaps added on. When we were there, the cabin next door was being rebuilt (July 2026) so some hammering, etc. was audible, but it wasn't terrible. The sun room was very nice, but because there were no screens, we couldn't open the windows. Outdoor chairs, firepit, and picnic tables make the backyard a great hangout (just watch for mosquitos!) Parking is spacious and the property has a very handy guidebook, which always makes things easier! Communication was excellent!
