Tucked away in the peaceful Mill Ridge community between Boone and Banner Elk, this cozy mountain cabin offers the perfect blend of comfort, charm, and convenience. Surrounded by lush rhododendrons and cool mountain air, the home invites you to unwind in true High Country style.

Sip your morning coffee on the deck, take a dip in the large outdoor hot tub, or gather around the firepit under the stars. Inside, rustic wood accents and warm oak floors create an inviting retreat after a day of mountain adventures.

The living area features a wood-burning stove, a flat-screen Smart TV, and open flow into the dining area and kitchen. With three bedrooms and two full baths, there’s room for everyone—two queen bedrooms and a twin room perfect for kids.

Located just 10 minutes from Boone or Banner Elk, the home offers quick access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, and several popular ski resorts including Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain.

Guests enjoy seasonal access to community amenities—a swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts, playgrounds, and scenic walking trails. The home is pet-friendly (max 2 dogs with fee) and includes A/C, laundry, firewood, and free Wi-Fi.

We enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and had all the cooking supplies you could need. It even has a crock pot! The beds weren’t super comfy but they sufficed for our 2 night stay. The bathrooms and showers were clean and hot. There is a washer and dryer. The hot tub was the disappointing part, as it wasn’t exactly clean for our stay. There was a little goody basket on the counter with some candy and s’mores stuff, so that kind of made up for the hot tub not being usable. Thank you for the hospitality's!

The cabin was clean but dated. Some of that was to be expected from where it is located. Also don’t expect a view. The surrounding foliage is overgrown and no thinning done. The hot tub was there but we didn’t use it. The fire pit is located oddly. It is under overhanging trees which should be limbed. As far as the location, it was very close to what we did. That was excellent.

Our cabin was neat and tidy. Cozy, with all the amenities needed to be comfortable. We loved the jacuzzi, the location, and was greeted with a curate little basket of s’more supplies. Perfect for our families needs

Beautiful vacation cottage/cabin in a secluded neighborhood close to area attractions! The private hot tub was very relaxing after a day of sightseeing & shopping. The Host was quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommended for a visit to this area!
