Catesby's Bluff

The Space:
Just adjacent to a North Beach boardwalk, this luxurious home offers the perfect setting for a large family getaway. Enjoy sweeping views of the dunes and the Atlantic Ocean from the second floor. Visiting chefs will fall in love with the open, well-equipped kitchen, featuring a double oven, 5 burner induction cooktop, wine fridge, and plentiful counter space for prep. The whole group can enjoy meals together at the table for eight, or dine al fresco on the furnished veranda.

Elsewhere on this main level, you’ll find a large living room with a gas fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings, as well as a flatscreen TV. Two of the six bedrooms round out this level, including an enormous main suite with an en suite bathroom and direct deck access.
Downstairs you’ll find the remaining four bedrooms, as well as another spacious seating area with a sectional and flatscreen TV. Outside, the 36-foot pool, soothing outdoor hot tub, and private gas grill are sure to create fantastic backyard memories for your entire group. Rinse off the sand at the convenient outdoor shower before heading inside. More entertainment options include free WiFi, cable, a stereo, CD player, and 7 TVs throughout the home.

Escape over the boardwalks to the beautiful beach. The Lake House at Seabrook allows guests access (for a fee) to an indoor heated pool, a fitness center, fitness classes, and a library. Dining and shopping at Freshfields Village is just four miles away, while fine dining and local historic tours are only a little over 20 miles drive in downtown Charleston.

Seabrook Island Club amenities and the Lake House Fitness Center require an Amenity card (deposit required for each card, and/or a daily/weekly fee to use the Club facilities). Club facilities include restaurants, outdoor pools, golf, tennis, pickleball, and more. Some activities have additional fees. All restaurants-only Amenity card charges are accepted (cash/credit cards not accepted). Visit the Seabrook Island Club's Guest Amenity Guide online for information and to purchase Amenity cards.
Parking Notes: There are 4 parking spots available for use. 1 parking pass is automatically paid for when booking the reservation. Any additional parking passes are $40 + taxes.

Beautiful Ocean Front Home

This home is in a perfect location on Seabrook Island. Beautiful quiet area. The house is decorated exquisitely and yet so comfortable for a family to enjoy. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything one would need. The pool is large and can be heated. As a famiky who rents a beach house every year for a week this home we said has the best layout and design.

Great property. Great location. Loved the privacy. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy common space and separate areas. Nicely appointed. Spa/hot tub not operable (sensor on order), but didn't prevent our good time. Would love to return.

Wonderful !!

We loved this property. So homey and cozy. Plenty of room. Beach access was perfect. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked. We also enjoyed breakfast on the deck right outside the indoor dining area. That was a treat! The pool and hot tub were so welcoming after a day on the beach. The house also included beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach ball games and towels! (We did wash and return these as instructed). We would certainly rent this house again!!

2240 Cateabys Bluff in disgusting!! On the right side under the house was leaking sewage. The floor is rotting and the bathroom tile

Not for the price!

We love Seabrook Island, we've been visiting for 25 years. The amenities fell short on this rental. Tried multiple times to get in touch with the property manager re issues and received no response. For the price of the rental, the property was misrepresented.

Almost Perfect

-Location great. Seabrook boardwalks give everyone a long walk to the beach but this house is right next to a boardwalk so as close as you can get. - Kitchen is one of the best. Pantry space. Every conceivable dish and utensil. Oversized fridge. - outdoor space is plentiful with nice view from top floor - beach cart, boogie boards, beach chairs, pool and sand toys abound. -elevator makes moving in and out very easy Room for improvement: - downstairs bathrooms need updating/ improving. Shower doors are almost unusable -mattresses really really need to be replaced -hot tub is old and not clean with only a couple of working jets -pool was not cleaned during our week stay -garbage was not collected as we were told we didn’t need to put dumpsters curbside so we didn’t but apparently you do need to. Our first visit to Seabrook. It is beautiful, and peaceful,

Wonderful week at Seabrook Island

The location of the house, ocean view, pool, hot tub, and the decks really made our visit incredibly memorable and enjoyable. I felt that the description of the house was accurate. The kitchen was modern and very amenable to cooking large meals for our family. All 10 adults could sit and enjoy time on the various decks, enjoying the view and watching the kids in the pool from all different angles, regardless of the weather. The house was quiet and private, with easy beach access. Only hiccups were that when we first arrived at the house the kitchen was not as clean as it could have been, and there were some stains on the bedroom carpets and some of the bedding (comforters and blankets) looked like they needed to be washed. I contacted Vacasa and they offered to re-clean the house for free, and we were given brand new bedding. Part of our fees up front did include a cleaning fee, so we felt this was appropriate. One of the shower doors in the lower level fell off and injured one of our adult relatives. One of our patio door handles also came off, and the toaster oven malfunctioned. We contacted Vacasa and a service man came out within the next few hours (this was on a Sunday) and addressed all of these issues. There were carpenter ants around the hot tub. These were actually found by the pool technician/lawn technician who came by to check on things early in the week. He took care of the ants and we were able to enjoy the hot tub for the rest of the week. The pool fee is hefty, but we felt it was worth it because the kids really enjoyed the pool every day. The pool was clean and well maintained. It was the second week of March so still chilly and the pool warmth made all the difference. We did call in prior to our visit to ask about the exact type of kitchen appliances that would be included and if there was a DVD player. We were told that there wasn't a DVD player, but later found out there was. We were also told there were only basic kitchen tools, and later found that there were more kitchen items available. This was a special surprise, but it would've been nice if we had been given a little more accurate information to start. Overall, this was a great house. This is a beautiful part of South Carolina. I expect to return in the future.
