This shared (with the property next door) untamed nature trail and bridge will take you directly to the sound located behind the property. Experience amazing views of the sounds and beautiful sunsets from the furnished sundecks and enjoy excellent bird watching. After relaxing on the screened porch with an outdoor dining area, you can take a dip in the hot tub or cap off the perfect day with a short walk to the beach.

Inside this comfortable home, you'll find a pleasing and relaxing atmosphere in the great room with a smart TV and Blu-Ray player, and comfortable furnishings. The three available bedrooms offer two queen beds and two singles when it's time to get some much-needed shut-eye. Great House

The house was very nice. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture, and awesome decks. Great location close to beach and shopping and restaurants.

Quiet Vacation week with the family

This house is located just south of mile marker 68. The area was quiet. The sound views were great and you can sit in the hot tube and see some stars from the 2nd level. The screen porch above the hot tube provided good shade in the day. All the appliances worked well and the welcome box from Vacasa with dishwasher detergent, dish soap, a trash bag and a sponge was a nice bonus.

Love this home!

We have rented this home several times an it is perfect for us. Very nice for my little grand babies with carpeted stairs an no outside stairs to the decks. It has new furniture this year which was nice. The only downfall is we have never been able to get all the way to the sound the path is so bad, but the sunsets are amazing over the sound.

Beautiful house but lots of bugs by the marsh

I loved the Pamlico Pathway it was so beautiful & clean & relaxing. Beautiful sunsets & beautiful views of the stars. The only thing I didn’t like was the bugs but that’s anywhere near the marsh. The house was equipped with everything we needed & it was like we were living there like a local. I had no issues & would book this stay again in the future.

Blessed week in OBX

the property is beautiful, exactly what is listed. The views every day and night are amazing. We enjoyed being on the sound, the adventurous walk to the sound water had our kids excited everyday. We did have rentals of beach equipment delivered which was added surprise and such a convenience. The kayak was fun and the boogie boards got added use up at jockey ridge sand dune sledding. The puzzles and games was nice also. Overall a phenomenal experience here and look forward to booking it again. Fam of 5!

Good house for the week

This house was good for what we needed. When we are selecting a home to rent for vacation we want something that is close to the beach. This house is about a 20 min drive to the point which is a great spot for fishing. There was a beach access within walking distance. The house was definitely dated, could use a good deep cleaning and updates. We had a few issues with the house when we got there. The repairman that came responded quickly and was able to resolved the issue within a few mins.

Nice home for a short stay

We are a group of 2 couples and the home was lovely for our short stay. We didn’t end up cooking anything so I can’t speak to the kitchen supplies. The living room furniture was nice, but it needs a plywood board under the cushions. We sagged almost down to the ground. The bathrooms were a nice size, as were the bedrooms. Please replace the mattresses-they were very uncomfortable. The house was very clean and the rental company provided great communication. The “boardwalk” out to the water is in very bad shape and has wood boards coming up. The foliage at the end of the walkway needs serious pruning back and there isn’t any railing. Walk out there at your own risk. On a special note, there is a handy-accessible beach access point pretty close by and that’s a wonderful amenity!!

Awful

This house has black mould all in the 3rd floor bathroom ceiling and kitchen ceiling around the light fixtures and the air conditioning vents meaning it's in the duct system, the house is literally toxic to stay in,i reported all this within minutes of checking in to the management they sent someone out the next day after multiple messages and calls with the promise that if it was mould they would move us, well the maintenance man said its mould and spray painted over it and told me to wait for management to call me back, ok 3 days later no calls or messages from anyone and I checked out early, truly terrible management company and condition of the house was shocking for the price, never again.

We enjoyed our stay, but we were expecting a little more.

I was a little worried when we pulled in the driveway and the grass hadn’t been cut. Then, as we walked through the house for the first time, we realized the pictures of the house hadn’t been updated in awhile. The walls are a different color and some of the furniture is different. One of the chairs on the top deck was broken when we got there. The master bath was missing a shower curtain liner and the sink wouldn’t drain properly. The refrigerator, at times, makes a loud noise. We thought we would be able to get to the sound, by walking the boardwalk right behind the house, to fish and paddle board. But we quickly realized that wasn’t going to happen. Someone called and left a message about the refrigerator noise. I tried to call them back twice, but no one answered or returned my call. We enjoyed our stay, but we were expecting a little more.
