New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

A boardwalk stroll across the dunes is all that separates you from the sea at this beautiful Holden Beach house. Fully outfitted for comfort, the home has been recently upgraded with all-new decor and furnishings. The fully enclosed backyard provides your own private slice of paradise complete with an entertainment deck. There's even a large, private outdoor shower for rinsing-off sand and saltwater. The covered front porch looks out directly over your private beach boardwalk, and you can even see the twinkle of the ocean out on the horizon. Located on the island's West End, this family-friendly retreat offers a quiet getaway for those looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of Coastal Carolina.

Inside, relax in the light-filled living area while streaming shows and movies on the 65-inch smart TV. The stainless steel kitchen comes ready and equipped to handle family-style meal prep with ease. Kitchen extras include an Air Fryer, Keurig/Coffee Maker Combo, Ice Machine, Flat Grill, and a Stand Mixer. Free WiFi keeps you as connected as you want to be. Home essentials include central air-conditioning and a private washer/dryer.

Is there a perfect beach house location? Yes this is it

The location of this property is amazing. A short walk to the beach, the best views off the deck. The house is aged but the location mores than compensates. If you are going to the beach to enjoy the beach this is the place for you.

Great location

Love love love the location of this house. Also love the layout with both a sun room and a covered porch. Really appreciate that we can bring the pooch too. Our third rental of this property is already scheduled.

We had a wonderful Christmas vacation. It was the coldest Ocean Isle had been in a very long time, but the staff worked with us to make sure our stay was enjoyable.

Love this location

The house is in a terrific spot. None of the interior living room furnishings have been updated in years - they are "soft" so you sink into them. Beds are great, kitchen has plenty of stuff. Really is the location and two porches overlooking the beach that says it all.

Repeaters ....

New kitchen! Yay. Our gourp has stayed at this house twice a year for the past 3 years. We tend to stay in rather than gad about the area so the discovery of at new kitchen was fantastic. Thanks owners... Now maybe you can deal with the living room seating, it's dirty and worn and pretty uncomfortable cause it's so soft.

Annual vacation to OIB

The house suited our family perfectly. Was a little disappointed that the deck couldn't accomodate more chairs/ people. It was wonderful that sheets and towels were provided, thank you! The kitchen was fully stocked and very nice. We were told that we'd get a text if early check in was available. Some of us arrived at the house around 3:00 but didnt check the door. I arrived at 3:45, checked the door and the key code worked. It would have been nice if we would have been notified that we could get in early. Thank you for being a pet friendly house. Our dog, Owen, absolutely loves the ocean and being close to the point made for some wonderful walks and beautiful sunrises.

Great Location!

The location is tremendous. House was comfortably lived in / family comfort. As others have mentioned, living area furniture is older and not super comfortable. Understandable given the location and situation :-) However the beds were great and the abundance of towels greatly appreciated. We've already booked another stay.

Best location on Ocean Isle

This is our third visit staying at Summer Sands and we love it! At the beach, it is location first and foremost for us and you can’t get any closer than with this house. It is literally on the beach. The unit is clean, the washer and dryer is great, plenty of parking and the deck off the dining area is our favorite spot to people watch, dolphin watch or just to sit and relax. It’s an older home with not the latest and greatest gadgets or kitchen appliances but it’s functional and we love it. Again, the location is unbeatable

Absolute best view on the beach. This is an older home and could use a few updates, we knew this going in so didn’t bother us. Air filters need to be replaced and vents were a bit dusty. Plenty of space and all appliances worked great.

Lovely location but very outdated home.

This house was the ideal location. Literally right on the beach. We could be on the deck and let our kids play in the sand. The house however, was very outdated and we had definite concerns as there was mold in the bathrooms and the front door had rust all over which was a hazard for everyone, especially our small kids. Again, perfect location but the home needs many improvements to say the least.

GREAT Location!!!

You couldn't get any closer to the beach if you tried! WONDERFUL location. I enjoyed watching the waves as I laid in bed! Vacasa personnel were very friendly and helpful. The house feels like grandma's house with it's well worn furniture but it was exactly what my family wanted. Did I mention the location to the beach??!! If you are looking for a high class modern & sleek home, this is not for you. But if you just want a great place to kick back with your family and friends and enjoy the beach, this is what you want!

Location and cockroaches

The location can’t be beat. Right on the beach. The rooms were spacious for our group. The house is in need of some TLC. The fans and vents/returns are coated in layers of dust and all bathrooms had mold. The sheets were also dirty is some rooms. The worst of it was the cockroaches and beetles in the home. We were all afraid to bring home an infestation. Unfortunately Vacasa was not helpful with this matter. Dissapointed but the proximity to the beach helped. We just did a lot of cleaning.
