This updated home right on the Shallotte River offers a unique floor plan, new furnishings and fixtures, and a private dock on the river, perfect for lazy afternoons with a fishing pole.

Inside, you'll find a split floor plan. The center of the household is the kitchen, with spacious Corian countertops and custom maple cabinetry. Just adjacent is the sunny dining space. On one side of the kitchen, you'll find the first suite featuring a sofa bed, an electric fireplace, and a smart TV, as well as a desk for remote work and an en suite bathroom. On the other side of the kitchen, the second suite offers a living area with a queen sofa bed, a smart TV, and an updated en suite bathroom.

You'll love spending time outside, with a backyard paradise featuring a walkway to the private floating dock, an outdoor seating area, and a covered patio. With a quiet, secluded location, river access, and a comfortable, unique interior, you might want to plan a little longer stay - all that's left to do is book it.

Things to Know

Wonderful clean house that's not too far from the beach! They also have bikes and kayaks for use, and we really enjoyed the bikes during our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect weekend getaway for my family of 4!

We had a relaxing weekend at Seas the Day! Everything was so clean and it felt super cozy. Everything that we needed was there and we felt like we were at home! It was a super short drive to the beach access and there a fun park/splash pad near the access that the kids loved! I would highly recommend Seas the Day!

Pristine Property

Best home we’ve stayed on both OKI and HB in 20 years. Didn’t need beach access so it was perfect. Well appointed kitchen and TV in every room. Both decks used, cozy on the garage level too. Friendly neighborhood.

Enjoyable experience

We came down to spend Thanksgiving with family that lives in the island.The house was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. We will definitely see if it's available when we return.

Amazing rental!

Seas the Day has everything you need for a beach getaway! This is one of my absolute favorite rentals, from the top notch cleanliness to the beautifully appointed decor to the bikes, chairs, etc….it has it all! Very convenient location in a very quiet neighborhood. We will be back soon!

Excellent little beach house

Very nice beach house. Super clean and well stocked. Literally had anything you could possibly need for your stay other than clothing and food. Super quiet neighborhood and very easy to access the strip where all the stores and resteraunts were located. We absolutely loved the weeks stay and have no complaints at all and if we ever come back to oak island this is hands down the home we will rent again.

Family Time

We came to Oak Osland to spend time with our grown children and granddaughter. The home had everything we needed from a fully stocked kitchen to games and bikes. Very clean. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back.

Family vacation

This home was the perfect size for our family. It was quite a hike to the beach, and a good thing we had a golf cart. The only issue was that our trash never did get emptied during our stay there, which accumulated quite quickly. Overall, it was a good beach day.

The location of this great getaway is great. Very clean, close to beach & waterways, plenty of restaurants plus it`s nice and quiet. Think about extended the checkout to normal times e.g. 11am. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Beautiful home

Our family very much enjoyed staying in this beautiful home. Everything in the home was so convenient for our family. We actually hosted meals two different evenings for our children and grandchildren, who stayed in other homes on the island. The screened in porch was perfect for all the children to eat their meals and play. After we figured out the beach access parking, which is new, we enjoyed the beach. We have stayed on OKI for over 20 years with our family. This home is definitely on our short list of favorites. Hope to get to stay there again soon.

Seas the day in Oak Island!

Oak island is a quaint little beach town! This house is located in a nice little neighborhood just minutes from the beach! The home is very nice, but could use a scrubbing of the walls and carpets. Everything else was up to par clean. The beach gear in the garage was great however only one of the adult bikes was rideable which made it impossible for our family to ride bikes together. The games provided for the kids were all missing pieces and a mess. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything you need to make a nice meal. The grills all worked to which was great. The couch was nice and comfy and so were the beds. Quiet little neighborhood felt very safe!

Loved the property but Vacasa needs help on accurately communicating changes like " changes WITHIN 7 days" when they mean within 3-7 days". Thus property info to get into garage should say KEYPAD on left front of garage wall instead of just lock as there is a door to garage with a lock. Also online instructions only instruct temperature change to 75 and starting a load of towels whereas instructions on property fridge are much more detailed. This is the reason dishes were not put away, dishwasher was still running at 10am so had to leave them. Signing into TV apps info would be helpful for those who don't use tv app usernames and passwords often. Need to know to come with all that info.Thoroughly enjoyed quiet location, privacy, house layout, amenities and decor.
