We're the Carvills - a family of four from London, UK, who moved to Los Angeles in 2024. On our first trip to Joshua Tree we fell in love with the desert! We loved the energy, the vibe, the people, the sunsets, the stars - the list goes on. That's why we jumped at the chance to buy the Motel California - we wanted to enjoy our own slice of the desert and we hope you do too!

It’s a place made for slowing down, breathing deeper, and savoring the magic of the high desert. We visit whenever we can - and we want other people to see what we love about it too!
