Located directly on the shores of Lower Saranac Lake, Heron 1 is a waterfront end-unit townhome with breathtaking lake views, as well as direct views to the on-site private, sandy beach. The townhome is on the Ampersand Bay section of the 17 mile Saranac Chain of Lakes, and only 1 mile from the heart of downtown Saranac Lake, 15 minutes from Lake Placid and 40 minutes from Whiteface Mountain.
Our two-story rustic log townhome is decorated in traditional Adirondack style. The Old Hickory furniture, colorful lamps, gas fireplace and artwork on the walls create a warm and intimate ambiance.

As you enter, you'll be greeted by a spacious room divided into a cozy living area with pull-out queen sofa, a dining section with a round table that seats five, and a fully-equipped kitchen, complete with granite breakfast bar with four more chairs. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, including a drip coffee machine and a Keurig, microwave, oven, gas stove, dishwasher, large sink, and a large fridge with freezer. Enjoy home-cooked meals from your lakeside dining table.

Enjoy breathtaking views with your morning coffee or afternoon cocktails on the 1st and 2nd floor balconies, located directly over the water. Relax on the sandy beach, which has lounge chairs and a firepit for bonfires. The main bedroom is located on the second floor with a king bed, a relaxing jacuzzi, and direct access to a private balcony. The bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower with body jets. Look out the picture window from your bed when you wake up and you may spot a loon gliding on
the sparkling lake. Listen carefully for their distinctive call. In the winter, you may spot an otter fishing through his ice holes. And there is always the opportunity to spot a majestic eagle. The other second-floor spacious bedroom features a queen bed. The first-floor bedroom has a twin bed with a trundle. Both bedrooms have a closet and fully equipped bathrooms with rain showers. In the second-floor hallway, there's a washer and dryer for your convenience. The unit is fully climate
controlled and has a gas fireplace.
