Hello! My name is Irena. I’m originally from Lithuania, and my husband is Belgian. Together we speak 9 languages fluently! We have three daughters and one son, who are all almost grown up. I used to run my own ice cream shop in Tongeren, so I really enjoy good food, hospitality, and meeting new people. We love welcoming guests from all over the world and making them feel at home.

I chose this neighborhood because it’s one of the most beautiful and peaceful areas in Tongeren. The apartment is located near the historic Moerenpoort, close to parks, shops, the library, and the train station — everything is within walking distance. On Sundays, you can enjoy the big antique market, and there are many lovely places to walk or cycle. I love that it’s quiet and safe here, with no noise or neighbors underneath — the whole house is just for you.
