180° unobstructed mountain views — including from the hot tub after dark. We just completed a full vegetation-clearing project to open the entire Mt. LeConte panorama from both private decks. Private theater room, full game loft (pool table, air hockey, foosball, 700-game arcade), and a jacuzzi soaking tub round out this quiet end-of-road retreat at Legacy Mountain Resort. Sleeps 8 across two king bedrooms plus sofa beds. Paved roads all the way in — no steep mountain driving. 15 minutes to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood.

Cleanliness is one of our highest priorities — every stay is professionally cleaned and inspected before you arrive, and the cabin is stocked with starter supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher and laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner) so you can settle in without a store run. The hot tub is drained and refilled with fresh water before every check-in.

Most cabins at Legacy Mountain converted their loft into a third bedroom. Ours didn't — you get a private theater and a full game loft, with a pool table, foosball, air hockey, and an arcade cabinet loaded with 700 classic games.

Guests have full, private access to the entire cabin during their stay — no shared spaces — including the decks, hot tub, game room, and theater room. Self-check-in with a keyless entry code sent before arrival, so you can arrive on your schedule. Parking is available directly at the cabin.

You'll also have access to the community amenity center, a short 5-minute walk away, with a fitness gym and seasonal outdoor pool.

Best explored by car — paved, family-friendly roads lead directly to the cabin with on-site parking. The local Pigeon Forge trolley is a convenient car-free option, and Uber/Lyft operate in the area though availability can vary late at night. The closest major airport is McGhee Tyson (TYS) in Knoxville, about an hour away.

We loved this cabin! The views are stunning and morning coffee on the porch was perfect! My son and husband really enjoyed playing pool and we all were able to relax in the hot tub. Communication with the host was easy and this cabin had everything we needed and more! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

The cabin was perfect for our family of 4. The views were breathtaking! Watching the sunrise was stunning from the balcony. The cabin had everything we needed and was very nice. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was stocked with the essentials. The host was wonderful to work and very helpful. Can't wait to go back!

The view was truly amazing! The game loft was so fun as a family to play and my kids loved it. We felt close to everything but far enough to enjoy the serenity of the mountains. Everything was super clean! The hot tub was awesome! Thank you to the hosts, we loved our stay!! Don’t pass this one up!

We had a great time staying in Pigeon Forge. The Cabin, Sanctuary in the Smokies, was a perfect location for our itinerary.. Within 20 min to everything including Dollywood, Gatlinburg, hiking, shopping and 45 min to rafting. We loved coming back from a long day to relax in the hot tub or the pool that overlooked the mountains. My teenage boys would spend their down time playing pool or arcade up in the loft. The views from the deck were breathtaking and we even got to see a bear more than once!! We are an adventurous family and especially enjoyed the zipline tour (just 1/2 mile away) on the last day of our vacation. (which you get 20% off for staying on the resort). I found the hot tub to be clean and beds were super comfortable. The owner was VERY responsive and welcoming. Communication, access in to the property, and cleanliness of the cabin was very appreciative. It was the perfect size for our family of four. I highly recommend this location and cabin.

Our goal is simple: you should never have to think about logistics, just enjoy the mountains.

Legacy Mountain Resort hits a balance we couldn't find anywhere else in the Smokies — real mountain views and quiet, paved roads with no white-knuckle driving, but still close enough to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Dollywood for an easy day trip. It's the kind of place where you can watch the sunrise over Mt. LeConte in the morning and be at the parkway by lunch.
