Welcome to the Benson Charmer—your Omaha home base for work or play! This two-bedroom/1.5 bath gem blends cozy charm with modern perks: keyless entry, fast WiFi, smart TVs, a stocked kitchen, and laundry. The finished basement adds space with a daybed, desk, and ½ bath. Sleeps 6 with flexible options. Just 11 minutes to downtown with quick access to major roads, it’s perfect for crews, families, or friends ready to explore and relax.
The home is just east and north of the historic Benson neighborhood, near 60th & Maple streets. Considered the heart of the neighborhood, Maple Street boasts a vibrant culture perfect for foodies, musicians, artists, and more. From coffee houses to nightclubs to restaurants and the newly renovated Benson Theatre, you could spend the day exploring what Buzzfeed has called the most “hipster” neighborhood in the State.
Better yet, the Benson Charmer is less than 11 minutes to Charles Schwab Field—Home of the College World Series—NoDo, CHI Health Center Arena, Holland Performing Arts Center, Joslyn Art Museum, and the Old Market; and less than 7 minutes to UNO, UNMC, Midtown. It`s also conveniently located near medical facilities, like UNMC, the Methodist Hospital System, Children`s Hospital, and CHI facilities near Creighton University.
More than 100 years young, this home has its quirks. The front and side entrances have stairs, and the attached garage is accessed through the backyard. The total finished square footage is 975 SF, which includes the basement. The main floor is an efficient 725 SF, both functional and cozy. The kitchen has limited storage, and the main floor bath has a pedestal sink, so there is limited counter space. Even with the quirks, the place is excellent for a quick getaway or an extended stay to work and play in Omaha.
Check-in is easy. The Benson Charmer uses electronic deadbolt locks. Guests receive a unique keycode just before their scheduled check-in day. Once checked in, there`s a garage door opener, should guests want to park in the garage and access the home through the basement entry.
I`m available to answer questions, provide recommendations about things to do and places to eat, and help should there be a maintenance issue. Just message me through Airbnb, and I respond promptly, usually within the hour, for messages between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Benson is a historic neighborhood orginally platted as Benson Place in 1867 and now a pocket of North Omaha. The neighborhood features an eclectic mix of older homes with various family owned and operated businesses usually in older buildings that have been renovated to perserve their historic charm. You`ll find a range of wonderful restaurants, pubs, specialty shops, and live music venues in the heart of Benson.
The home can accommodate one additional guest (8 guests total). There is an additional fee of $25 per guest per night after the first six (6) guests. Infants are counted as guests.
The home is not childproofed, nor does it have a crib, pack-n-play, or high chair.
The garage can accommodate one car; the opening is 69” tall, so SUVs, trucks, and other vehicles taller than 69” must park on the drive. There’s plenty of room for an extra car on the driveway, although it is a single-lane drive. Parking is also available on the east side of the street in front of the home.

Only registered guests are permitted on the property. Maximum occupancy is 6 guests, with up to 2 additional guests (for a total of 8) at $20 per person, per night. Infants and children under 2 are included in the guest count.
🍴 Food & Drinks
Please enjoy meals and drinks in the common areas. To help us keep the bedrooms fresh, please refrain from eating or drinking in the bedrooms.
🪑 Furniture & Amenities
Do not move or rearrange the furniture. Please take care of all furnishings, bed linens, and bath towels provided.
🗑️ Trash & Recycling
Use the bins located outside the south entrance:
Black lid = Trash
Bright green lid = Recycling (only recyclables, please).

Report any damage or breakages promptly. Guests are responsible for repair or replacement costs. Payments will be coordinated through the Airbnb Resolution Center.
