The Space:

THE LODGE AT GRATEFUL WOODS:



The Lodge is an original log cabin and is one of several rental units on our 75 acre Animal & Nature Retreat. This listing includes the "Lodge" which sleep up 8 people in 3 bedrooms (2ppl to a bed). If you would like one or two more bedrooms please inquire as we can add on additional units to accommodate. Clarification of sleeping arrangements for this listing is below. Again because of our unique accommodations, please inquire with more details about your group size and needs and we are sure we can accommodate.



The Lodge, sleeps 8:

- Room 1: king bed

- Room 2: queen bed

- Room 3: two full beds (we consider this a "half bedroom" simply because it does not have a bedroom door, but it is nooked out and we provide a screen for added privacy)

- Full bathroom, upstairs

- Full bathroom, downstairs

*All bedrooms are upstairs and common spaces are downstairs.



GRATEFUL WOODS GROUNDS:

This is a unique property unlike any other. We've designed it to host large groups seeking a private retreat in nature, but whether your group is big or small, the property is cozy and will never feel like too much. Play, hike, cook, swim, sleep, adventure, relax.... Whatever your heart desires, the options are endless.



THE HIGHLIGHTS:

75 acres of woods and farm land to explore consisting of but not limited to -

farm animals, flower farm, nature trails, ponds, creek, waterfall, views, fire pits, fireplace, grills, luxury bed sets, gardens, pool, hot tub, projector, shuffleboard, hammock deck, board games, puzzles, just about every yard game you can imagine plus basketball, pickleball, volleyball, badminton, bocce ball & so much more. We have Sonos speakers located throughout the property, as well as a variety of musical instruments for endless musical entertainment.

There is a brand new studio space on the property for all of your wellness, corporate, craft space needs.



EXPERIENCES:

Want to curate a one of a kind experience? The options are endless. Ask us about our Silent Disco or our list of private chefs, cocktail classes, yoga instructors, sound baths, art classes, masseuses, pre-arrival kitchen stocking, special occasion decorations and so much more



NEIGHBORHOOD:

You will be secluded enough to feel a total escape from real life, yet not too remote. We are very close to convenience stores, groceries, restaurants, cute towns and more.

We are also located just minutes from Minnewaska State Park, the Shawangunk Mountains, Mohonk Mountain Preserve and the breath taking Ashokan Reservoir.



There are multiple options for rentals here at Grateful Woods. We can accommodate groups of different sizes between our multiple dwelling units at different times of the year! We've lived in and renovated each and every unit on this property to specifically cater to your needs. No detail has gone spared.

Guest Access:

We do NOT book out additional units to other guests. You will have the entire grounds to yourselves, not including the units you do not rent.

Other Things to Note:

DOGS:

We love dogs and welcome them into our homes. We provide dog beds, bowls, treats and towels for muddy paws, as well.

Please note, you must take full responsibility for your dogs while on the property, as well as any potential damages.

We can allow up to two, fully trained, responsible dogs. Please inquire if you have more than two dogs.



CHILDREN:

While Grateful Woods is not child proof in any way, it is like "camp" and very desirable for families with young children.

We love to welcome families to our property, but you must take full responsibility for your children and never leave them unattended.

Note, we do have several day beds throughout each unit that are great for kids to sleep in. We also provide pack n plays, a high chair, baby bath, and kids dining set and cutlery.

If you are interest in any of the above amenities please let us know prior to your stay so we can set them up for you.



*We do thorough check-in and check-out walk throughs and will be in touch should we notice any damages after your stay.



IMPORTANT:

We absolutely want you to enjoy yourselves to the fullest, but unfortunately we cannot allow events or loud parties.

Please reach out if you want to hear more about how, when and where you can let loose at any time of the day.

Although you will be in the middle of the woods on your own 75 acres of land, Grateful Woods is still set in a residential neighborhood and sound does carry.

PLEASE be courteous of our neighbors and keep the volume to a respectable level. There is a 10pm town curfew for loud, outdoor noise and we have outdoor noise monitors to assure this.



.BOOKING NOTE:

During peak season weekends (May-October), we only rent the whole property to one group at a time.

For most weekdays year round, as well as off-peak weekends (October-May), we will rent the units separately.

A Root & Ramble Place



Interaction with Guests:

Grateful Woods is a fully operational farm so there are always people coming and going from the farm side of the property. The homes are located on the other side of the property so the chances are high that you will not see anyone during your stay. The goats are located close to the homes, so once a day someone will come to feed them. We are always available via call or text and can send someone over at a moments notice if needed. Otherwise, you will not be bothered.
