Host provided us keys to our room. When we opened the door two giant dogs came leaping towards me. I had to drop my items back at my car and go back down to the office. Host provided a different room but that experience was absolutely terrifying not only with the dogs but what if the host had provided keys to my room like that. How unsafe.

Was told to call the front desk to tell them we would be arriving at 8:00 pm. I was give. A new york number. I got someone who could not help me, and said they could not even find my reservation. I was then given a number for in Oregon, but no one ever answered even though we tried calling multiple times over an hour. Our room was changed to a room on the third floor with no elevator. Okay, i can deal with that, but that was the last time i saw anyone at the front until check out. No one refilling breakfast stuff, no one to get towels, no one ever! There was never anyone at the front. The room was run down with the towel bar broken, no back on the remote, stains, and the freezer had no room as it desperately needed to be defrosted. It was a bed that worked but will never stay there again. Do not recommend.

We visited to celebrate a 60th birthday and Father’s Day, and while there were positive aspects, several issues significantly impacted our experience.On the positive side, the room was very clean and lacked any pet odors. Additionally, the host who greeted us was friendly and provided all the necessary information for the property.However, we encountered several significant issues: - Bed Comfort: The bed was extremely hard, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. We both woke up in considerable pain, which affected our enjoyment of the trip. - Ocean Access: The property description suggested walking access to the ocean, but the area consists entirely of cliffs with no safe way to reach the water. - Pet Policy Inconsistency: While signs clearly indicate where dogs are prohibited, we observed the host’s own dogs in these "no dog" zones. - Security and Safety: On trash day, we observed an unauthorized individual going through the bins. The host interacted with the area without addressing the situation, which was concerning. - Checkout Process: When we departed, there was no staff onsite. Multiple guests, including ourselves, had to leave their key cards on the desk and walk away without a formal checkout.Given the price point of the room, the lack of sleep and the inconsistencies in management were disappointing.
