On your journey to our lodge, you will pass through a nostalgic covered bridge, drive by a babbling brook, and meander up a winding, dead-end dirt road. Our home sits in a quiet, peaceful five-acre setting and has been completely remodeled with earth-tone charm. Enjoy time with friends or family relaxing, reading a book, playing pool, barbecuing on the back deck, gazing at the stars, or gathering around the fire pit after a day of adventure on the Deerfield River, skiing at Berkshire East, or visiting the many natural attractions the Berkshires have to offer.
Create amazing meals in our fully stocked kitchen. We offer plenty of herbs, salt, pepper, and oil. All you need to bring is the food! This room is open-concept to the dining room, so guests can enjoy playing games while watching the prep.
The great room is a fun area with plenty of quirky seating, a smart TV, a pool table for the pool enthusiast, and plenty of board games to keep you busy. Large windows bring the outside in.
All bedrooms are located on the second floor, which has been refinished with wide pine floors, and each is decorated with its own hint of a Native American/bohemian feel.
This home has two full bathrooms, one with a walk-in double shower and the other with a tub/shower combo. There is also a half bath just off the great room for convenience.
Enjoy time on the expansive back deck, playing cornhole (weather permitting), or sitting around the fire pit. The property abuts conservation land. One may enjoy leisurely walks down the dirt road or simply sit quietly and listen to the sounds of nature abounding.
Our area offers a lot for outdoor adventurers. Summer fun includes fly fishing, kayaking, white-water rafting, and tubing down the Deerfield River, as well as mountain biking, zip lining, and coaster rides at Berkshire East, and hiking the many trails, including Mount Greylock. Enjoy a day at Mass MoCA just 30 minutes away, or a day in Shelburne Falls visiting its charming shops, cafes, the Bridge of Flowers, the glacier holes, and much more.
In the winter months, enjoy skiing and snow tubing at Berkshire East, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing on the many area hiking trails.
Charlemont is a small, remote town with many outdoor attractions. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place.
