Beautiful condo in a beautiful setting. Very quiet complex - perfect for relaxation. Very well stocked kitchen, linens, towels, beach supplies, and even DVDs! The listing was very accurate and we found everything we needed here. We happened to visit in between the 2 kona storms in March -- bad timing -- but the condo was a safe and relaxing place to hang out while waiting for the rain to clear out. We did find some playing cards but might recommend a few board games or puzzles for bad weather days, but I know those are (fortunately) not common! The washer and dryer was so convenient to have there. We really felt like we had all the comforts of home. The management company was very responsive when we had a little trouble with the wifi and cable due to the storms. Fortunately, that got fixed quick too! Our only complaint was that the heated pools were pretty cold during our stay, but again I believe that was due to the overabundance of rain. The last day of our stay the sun finally came out fully and the pools felt much better LOL! To summarize our stay, we had super bad timing weather-wise, but the condo and our host were perfect and made our visit enjoyable and relaxing even though we spent WAY more time inside there than originally intended. Highly recommend - and we definitely would visit again!

Great layout. Both the bedroom and bathroom are very isolated from the living room and kitchen. I was able to get up and make breakfast and watch tv without waking partner. Great facilities and all the beach amenities you could ask for. My only small complaint was the size of the tv in the bedroom. Its like a 20" monitor

Perfect honeymoon location

Kihei Akahi was the perfect place to stay for our honeymoon on Maui! It had everything we needed for a beach day and was furnished well for when we decided to stay in. It is conveniently located near many shops and places to eat as well as across the street from the beach. We hope to be back in the future for another stay, we definitely enjoyed our time.

Return to Maui after 30 years

C313 had everything we needed for a fabulous 16days in the sun to celebrate our 30th anniversary. All amenities needed for an extended stay.

Perfect Getaway

This place exceeded my expectations! Extremely clean and had everything needed to enjoy our vacation. Easy check in and out. Located directly across the street from the beach and super close to shops and dining. Partial ocean view was great to watch the sun rise with a cup of coffee. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful place. It made our family trip one we will never forget!

Better equipped than average Kihei Condo

This unit had a well equipped kitchen and better than average assortment of beach toys / chairs / used snorkel gear. Only deficiency was the lack of a working safe. When a minor issue was brought to the property manager’s attention it was address satisfactorily within 24h.

Great condo and location

My wife and I greatly enjoyed the condo. It’s close to a nice beach with plenty of sand, sea, and snorkeling, as well as restaurants and shopping. The condo is well equipped with almost of all what we needed. Communications with the management company was excellent and responses to 2 small needs were prompt. The condo facilities are also great and the landscaping is beautiful. Highly recommended.

As advertised

Condo was as pictured. Not on the beach, 3-4 minute walk. All you needed to cook with and grounds were nice. If you don’t need to be on the beach it was well priced.

December Getaway

Have stayed at Kihei Akahi several times and love its proximity to beaches, restaurants and shopping. Older complex but well maintained grounds. The room was well equipped with beach chairs, boogie boards and towels. Kitchen Cupboards looking a bit worn and the screens to the bedroom windows need repair. Overall pretty clean but could use freshen up of bed skirt and needs a deep spring clean .

I had an exceptional stay at this apartment. It offers everything you could possibly need in one place. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials, making it easy to prepare meals just like at home. The reserved parking was a significant advantage, providing peace of mind and convenience. The apartment also comes with cable TV and a selection of games, which added to the overall enjoyment of the stay. Maui vacation

Overall this condo was a great place to lay our head down. It was walking distance to many stores and right across from the beach. We were a little disappointed that we didn’t get a goodie bag that everyone spoke so highly of. There is air conditioning in the living room and fans for the room since it can get a bit hot. Overall it was a good experience.

I then checked with our gift bag vendor and they checked their August delivery log. Your gift bag was delivered to C313 on August 10th. It was left at the door as you were not home when they knocked. Unfortunately, it appears it went missing after delivery. We are SO very sorry that happened! We are now mailing you a gift from Maui to your home address. Hopefully, this will make up in some small way for what happened. As far as the warmth, in the summer months is can be hotter on Maui and takes a day or two to adjust to island life. Everything You Need

Being a former Maui resident, I knew the location of this property is excellent. It is right across the street from a beautiful beach and close to many restaurants and shops (I rented a stand-up paddleboard and walked with it to the beach, just a block or two away). A grocery store is a 5 minute drive away. The condo was immaculate when we arrived. Although the condo is fairly small, the layout uses the space well. The thing that impressed me most was how well the condo is supplied. From dishes to cookware to toiletries (incl. sunscreen) to beach gear (towels, chairs, coolers, umbrella, snorkel gear) and more, about the only thing we needed to buy was food. The quality of the items supplied was good, too. Not the mishmash of "garage sale" quality dishes, cookware, utensils, etc that you sometimes run into in a vacation rental. The king size bed was a bit too hard for my wife but I was OK with it. The living room is nicely furnished and even had an impressive supply of DVDs. There is a small ocean view, if you are at one end of the balcony. Although the condo has a 3rd floor number (313), it is actually on the 2nd floor of the building, which is on a slight hill (that level is the 3rd floor on the other end of the building). We really liked the keyless (code) entry - no keys to worry about. The resort pools are fairly small but were not crowded when we used them - water was a nice temperature. We were very pleased with our 8 day stay.
