An amazing location! Incredibly clean and well-maintained. Attentive host. A new hot water on demand was installed and had difficulty having a hot shower, but I’m sure that would be resolved as soon as possible. (The host was very disappointed)I was originally cancelled because of a double booking however it was sorted. There is only one great way to get up the hill and that is to the local Lodge, otherwise it is a bit treacherous. I’m grateful for my stay there and I would definitely recommend!!The local Lodge for dinner and bakery shop are best.Beaches are amazing!!

Casa Amalfi is fantastic! I only stayed 3 days/nights with a couple of friends, but I wish I had stayed longer. The price per night was very affordable given the location and fabulous views. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, with a calm breeze coming off the coast, and pretty much total privacy in the backyard and pool - don't worry about anyone seeing you ! The owner was very thorough in her communication with me, offering suggestions on where to eat and shop nearby, as well as providing valuable information on how things really work in the DR. It's a great place for a relaxing, luxurious getaway!
