Great house in Jan Thiel

Enjoyed our stay at this house. Very comfortable for 7 adults. Plenty of space for all. Great deck by the pool. Great communication with the staff. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Curacao! Thanks!

Absolutely Amazing!

Our stay at The Pearl of Jan Thiel was fantastic! If I could rate more than 5 Stars I would! Perfectly equipped with everything we needed, and the house/pool and yard were beautiful. Conveniently located to many of the activities we had booked. The hosts were right there if we had any questions. We would definitely book this property again!

Truly a Pearl of Jan Thiel

The Pearl of Jan Thiel is truly that. Modern villa, clean and well appointed. Landscaping of property provided ample privacy whether in the palapa, the pool or outside seating areas. While we had no issues, staff was available, friendly and attentive. Would definitely return to and recommend this property. Helpful things to know: House is one of four mirror images of each other on the property. Rental car recommended - walk to beach is downhill but return obviously not.

Pearl of Jan Thiel

This was our first trip to Curacao and our experience was fabulous. Our hosts met us at the villa and walked us through everything. The villa was very clean, very nicely appointed and simply outmatched our expecations. The gym and game room were also great additions! The hosts were very available for any questions and lovely to deal with. The location is walking distance to the beach and other Jan Thiel amenities. We hope to have an opportunity to visit again!

Amazing stay!!!

Best birthday trip ever!! The property manager was amazing and so helpful. Concierge was amazing & only a short WhatsApp text away for advice and recommendations. The proximity to Zanzibar beach was perfect, it was not too far from most places we wanted to go as well. The pool was well kept and the property was very beautiful. Would recommend if you’re ever in Curaçao. Just beware you’d have to pay a fee for electricity but I believe that’s common in the area. Thanks so much Key Caribe for accommodating us!

Gorgeous property!

We had a great vacation in this chic (and clean) villa. It was a perfect fit for our family of 5 with nice finishes throughout, good WiFi, and in a nice area close to beach and shops. I appreciated the laundry room, A/C, and comfortable pool area with some shade. We did not realize there were four (virtually) identical villas in the complex so gym/game room are shared (which was no problem). Our unit (3) also had no view of the Caribbean, which was disappointing, but it was a beautiful property and great stay overall! Would recommend!

Great place, friendly staff just one point of critique

Spacious luxurious, great place to accommodate big groups. The toilet of one of the rooms was not working properly. Although staff acted quickly it was not fully resolved before the end of our stay. Other then that great location. Would definitely recommend it

3 months in paradise

Nothing but positive on everything. The staff and management were amazing. Used the on site gym a ton, great set up. Location perfect. Only negative we had is that when we were to capacity, there was virtually no water pressure for multiple showers at the same time. We really needed a sower organizer. We were very sad to leave. Extra rain and tons of biting bugs when we first arrived, but you can hardly blain anyone for that. Once the rain stopped it was much better.

Amazing property

This house is part of a complex of 4 homes. The architect that designed this complex is a genius. The house is amazing. It’s modern, luxurious, and offers everything you need. The location is nice because all the other homes in the neighborhood are very elegant too. There are also a nice supermarket and a great gym that can be reached with an 8-minute walk or 2-minute drive. With a rental car, we were able to visit all the beaches, particularly Cas Abao, which is magnificent. One of the advantages of Jan Thiel is that from there you can take the ferry and visit Klein Curaçao, which has perhaps the most beautiful beach in the world. This home is also close to the main city, which is really beautiful. The property management was impeccable. Definitely a five star stay!

Amazing villa and destination!!

The four villa property is an architectural masterpiece, which can only be described as exceptional! This was our first time visiting Curaçao and we cannot wait to visit again! There were five of us staying - the villa in person was even better than the photos. The layout was perfect for our family, and allowed everyone to spread out and have their own space. We rented a car, which made it easy to travel to the island’s many beautiful beaches. All communication with property management received quick replies that exceeded our expectations. The neighborhood was beautiful and we felt very safe. There is new construction going on I the neighborhood, however, it did not disturb our stay. The trade winds were amazing and kept the villa cool during the day with an amazing breeze through the house. The air conditioning units in each room were very effective at cooling bedrooms at night. The overall design/layout and amenities of the villas were perfect!!

Beautiful property and the game room was a hit

First off the place is beautiful and the management company was super responsive. I mean, like within 5 minutes of sending them a WhatsApp you would get a response. One downside (at least for our group) - there is no partition or door between the toilets and the rest of the bedroom. Really really weird. And it's in a direct sight line of the kitchen. So if you're cooking at the stove and the bedroom door is open you're just looking at the toilet. So bizarre. We had a great time but that would probably prevent us from renting here again. But neighborhood, rest of house, the pool and the game room were very nice.

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charm and layout of this beautiful property.The first thing that struck us was how comfortable the beds were—truly a dream! Each night felt like a luxurious retreat, ensuring we woke up refreshed and ready to explore the island. The thoughtful design of the house maximizes both space and comfort, creating a true home-away-from-home atmosphere.The outdoor pool area was nothing short of a tropical paradise. We spent countless hours lounging by the pool, soaking up the sun, and enjoying the serene surroundings. The outdoor lounge area was perfect for relaxing with a good book or sipping cocktails as the sun set. It offered a fantastic blend of comfort and style, making it an ideal spot for both socializing and unwinding.Proximity to Attractions was a hit! The house location was conveniently situated near stunning beaches, local restaurants, and vibrant nightlife. Whether you want to explore the underwater world through snorkeling or simply relax on the beach, everything is within easy reach. Overall, this Vrbo house in Jan Thiel exceeded all our expectations. The combination of comfortable sleeping arrangements, a well-designed layout, and inviting outdoor spaces made our stay absolutely unforgettable. Great overall but just not ready for Americans

The house is overall beautiful. One thing to note for anyone not used to it is that there is not central air. You have to pay for what you use. There are split units in most rooms. We only used them at night and only in 3 rooms to cut costs. It was $150.00 for a week. Otherwise we opened up the windows for a nice breeze but could be sticky depending on the time of day. The pool was pretty but is missing a lot of tiles making it dangerous for my kids to put there hands anywhere. The house was clean. They started us with supplies for the week. An extra paper towel, a few trash bags, dish tablets, dish soap. Bring your own shampoo, conditioner, body soap and extra toilet paper unless you want to buy it. They do have all IKEA type appliances so they take some getting used to in order to cook and locate certain things. Washer dryer work but are small and hard to use mainly because I had no idea what the buttons meant! Staff was hard to get in touch with before arriving but really responsive when I did talk to them and while we were there. The location is great but just know its at the bottom of the island. If you are big on snorkle 5-6 of the those beaches are more than an hour away by car but the water is very intense up there. Restaurants are hit or miss. Just know they smoke in all of them and at the tables. They also do not care you are there and dont care about waiting on your so eating at the house might be better. There is a great grocery store 2 mins from the house.

Great Home & Location

House was awesome, staff and customer service was also awesome! Neighborhood is great location, and felt very safe for our kids to walk back and forth to the beach. Also very convenient grocery store located right around the corner!
