By combining The Marquee and The Vanderbilt, guests enjoy 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, and two full living levels—ideal for multi-family trips, retreats, wedding groups, or travelers who want space to spread out in the heart of downtown Asheville. This rare setup includes two full kitchens, two expansive living/den areas, and multiple dining spaces, offering both togetherness and privacy.
Stay in a piece of Asheville history. Built around 1895, The Altamont on Church Street began as a three-story brick commercial building and now stands as an award-winning example of historic preservation. Original brickwork and 19th-century details blend seamlessly with modern comforts in this Griffin Award–winning property, located on Historic Church Street just steps from Asheville's best dining, shops, and galleries.

- Guests can park in the Buncombe County public garage on Coxe Avenue, located just behind the church across the street and a quick, easy walk from The Altamont. Additional parking is available nearby in the public garage beneath the A-Loft Hotel on Biltmore Avenue.
- Yonder provides linens for all beds; other occupancy will require guests to provide the extra linens
- Yonder openly shares our Cleaning Fees in a manner of full disclosure, as we think this is the most honest and forthright approach concerning our guests. Our cleaning fees, backed by our Clean Guarantee, reflect the highest standards, pristine environments for our guests, and cleanliness that surpasses any other vacation home; we guarantee it!
Quiet Policy: Parties, loud noise, and unruly behavior are prohibited. Guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords.
Early Check-In and/or Late Check-Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If possible, an additional fee may apply, determined based on the time you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.
Pets: Many of our guests have allergies, so we have maintained a pet-free environment so they can enjoy their vacation without the potential of an allergic reaction. If you have a pet, we are happy to recommend some alternatives nearby.
Payment - Cancellation - Insurance - Military Discount: Please inquire about our payment and cancellation policies, military discount, and information about vacation rental insurance.
Note: Reservations over 30 days are subject for review prior to acceptance. A separate rental agreement will be required for 90+ day
Last Minute Bookings: Reservations made within 7 days of check-in require additional verification, including selfie/photo of government-issued ID matching the reservation name, and photo of payment method in the primary guest's name. Failure to complete verification may result in cancellation.
