Very large apartment..washer and dryer was a bonus! I love the neighborhood. There’s a historic church with a courtyard and play ground that was great for day time strolling. Night time was beautiful with a great ambiance. Poppy’s restaurant downstairs was amazing. As was Morgan’s tavern and grill. There was a menu in the unit which was very helpful cause I’ve never been in this area. I’m glad I picked this rental instead of one of the local hotels. If I come back to the area I’m definitely booking the same place!Very clean also. Don’t forget to leave the cleaner a tip..she deserves It!

The location was absolutely perfect for the New Year’s Eve events that go on here in downtown New Bern! The Condo had everything that you needed to make a few days stay very comfortable. It’s very quiet as well. The host did a great job with the amenities and also his communication to any questions you have was instant!

This apartment was great. We parked our vehicle on Thursday and didn’t move it until we were leaving Sunday because everything we needed was within walking distance. The apartment was clean and spacious. Bigger than it appeared in the listing. New Bern is such a pet friendly town and we are grateful that we were able to bring our pup along. We will definitely be back again.

I would repeat all of the positive comments made by other guests. We loved the condo, but it is not for anyone with mobility issues - there are a lot of steps to access the property.

We are moving away from NC and needed two nights in New Bern to complete closing. We absolutely LOVED that our last two nights were at this property. It’s clean, cozy, and in such a great location! We highly recommend a stay here!

You cannot beat the location of this property, right in the middle of town and within walking distance of restaurants, bars, shops, and the waterfront! David makes the check-in and check-out process very easy. We will be back!

This is the perfect location for a downtown New Bern visit! Highly recommend this condo. Very spacious layout with 2 bedrooms on separate ends of the unit. Would be a perfect 2 couples or a family stay. Kitchen was well stocked and had a coffee maker with coffee and creamer. David was very easy to ask questions and was prompt in his reply. The unit was very clean with comfortable beds and great air conditioning. There was some outside noise after midnight, since it’s located near restaurants. The steep stairs at the front and back would not be good for kids or adults with mobility issues. It was great to have our own private parking space out back. We love visiting New Bern and will definitely stay here again.

Very convenient. Charming. The living room is just above a bar, so we enjoyed music in our condo on two nights. If you need quiet, this may not work for you.

Great location in the heart of New Bern. Roomy and comfortable with nice kitchen and bathroom. Nice to have assigned private parking as well. Would stay again.

New Bern Downtown Stay

The place was conveniently located downtown in New Bern. Nice area to walk around with plenty of access to shops and restaurants. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was sufficiently supplied. I would come back again.

Overall Summary

The unit was as described. Clean and nice ! David communicated quickly and was helpful. A definite for a weekend or longer stay, walking distance for around town. If you have trouble with stairs might want an alternative. There is an excellent fair priced restaurant/ bar with patio next door... Check this unit out !

Absolutely wonderful experience. Location was perfect for enjoying historic downtown, many great restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. Host was very responsive to all communications. Strongly recommend and will return ourselves.
