We had a great stay at Abby’s place. The apartment was spotless and very comfortably fit 5 adults. The location was also very central. Thank you Abby!

Basement Apartment was clean, bathroom was small, not ideal for 5 adults. Shower was claustrophobic. Would recommend moving main bed away from the wall so it is easier for second person to get in and out of bed. Would be fine for a couple or family with children. Quiet time began at 10pm which isn't ideal on a weekend night. Stairs were steep so use caution if you have issues with climbing them.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m glad to hear that you found the apartment clean and that you enjoyed your stay overall. I also appreciate your comments regarding the staircase, bedroom layout, and shower. These details are helpful for future guests and for us as we continue to improve the space. The quiet hours beginning at 10:00 PM are in place to ensure a comfortable environment for all guests and neighbors, and we appreciate your understanding. Thank you again for staying with us and for your valuable feedback. We wish you all the best and hope to welcome you back in the future. Best regards, Abby

Our stay at Abby's place was good overall. Communication was excellent, and host responded quickly to our questions. Location is great-- close to everything and easy to get to. The unit is clean and well-lit. It was dry and had no musty odour (as some basements can have.) Beds were quite comfortable. We didn't do any cooking as we were visiting family every day, so I can't attest to the kitchen amenities. 3 things to note. 1. There is quite a steep staircase down to the unit which could be problematic for some people. Just be aware. 2. The unit is bare bones furniture-wise. Bedside tables are on only one side of each bed. So no place to put a book, glasses, charging phone for person on the other side. No extra hooks to hang damp towels. And, in the living room, no place for everyone to sit comfortably (to watch TV or chat) as there is only one smallish couch. There were 4 of us, we crowded 3 on the couch and 1 on a dining room chair, which is not ideal. No coffee table. 3. Shower stall is quite tight and the knob is finicky. We did figure it out, but perhaps more detailed notes would be useful. Overall, a good basic unit and place to hang your hat while visiting Freddy.

Hi Tracey. Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. I’m very glad to hear that you enjoyed the location, found the unit clean, bright, comfortable, and appreciated the prompt communication throughout your stay. I also appreciate your thoughtful feedback. These comments are very helpful as we continue to improve the guest experience. We’ll certainly consider adding additional furniture and storage options, as well as clearer instructions for operating the shower. Thank you again for staying with us and for sharing both the positives and suggestions for improvement. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again the next time you’re visiting Fredericton. Best regards, Abby

The stairs and particularly the landing are dangerous and there is no room to maneuver luggage. When coming up the stairs, you have to stand on the top stair just to get the door open. The workmanship on the entire unit is poorly done and there was considerable noise from the tenant on the main floor I would not stay there again
