Salt box on Brinson’s

Come and relax in a traditional Newfoundland salt box. Located on Brinson’s Hill in the town of Winterton. Our home is period with modern touches.
The harbour is a short walk where you can take in the scenic views and the smell of the sea air.
Winterton is located on Trinity Bay. Home to the Wooden boat museum. Short drive to Carbonear, St.John’s is a 1.5 hr drive.
Come enjoy some time away in our salt box. Surely cannot miss it. IT’S PINK.

The space

Our home offers three bedrooms and one bathroom.
Two bedrooms provide a queen bed in each. The third bedroom provides a single bed.
Inside all the amenities are provided whether your stay is short or a long term. Internet is provided along with board games for extra entertainment.
Outdoor space we patio chairs to enjoy the evening stars and the sound of the ocean.
We are a pet friendly home so your furry friends are welcome.

We were so excited to stay in a saltbox. Always wanted to. It was just as we had hoped. It was a great property right by the ocean. Nice and warm. Easy to access entry. Loved all the retro appliances. So comfy. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip or Robins other house

A glimpse into Newfoundland's past with lots of charm and rustic touches.It was also clean, had comfy beds and definitely made you want to stay longer. A cozy home where you could step out outside and smell the salt breeze and hear the sound of sea gulls!

The Saltbox has been renovated with love. It maintains the link to Newfoundland'past while providing all modern conveniences. It would be very comfortable for a long stay. We wish we had been able to stay longer but we hope to return. This is an exceptional property and it was a pleasure to deal with Robin.

What a charming property. The owners have thought of everything! It was authentic, comfortable and had all the conveniences one needs for a relaxing stay. We really enjoyed Winterton too. Plenty of hiking options and if you are lucky, there is probably some excellent entertainment at Trinity Hall which is directly across the lane. Highly recommend!

Cosy clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our two nights there.Found the communications difficult and wasn’t sure until we were almost there if I had a code to get in. All the emails and app business I found very confusing but I am an elderly woman so that might account for it.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house is so cozy and thoughtfully decorated and appointed. Though I visited during a January wind storm, I still appreciated the beautiful view from the upstairs windows. When I had an issue, the hosts were very quick to assist and to offer solutions. I would love to return!
The view just down the hill!
So, so cozy.
The kitchen is a vintage-lover’s DREAM.
